  1. I have a buddy here in mobile with a quick honda.. it is turbo though.. runs mid 11;s.. I also have a buddy in Baton rouge with a K20 swap( RSX type R motor) in his civic hatch. basically stock accept for hondata and managed on his first time to the track.. 12.9@106. So the saying is right.. you will have the fallowers, the PepBoys racing ricers.. and then you will have what now has become the faster sleeper honda. Definatly congrats on the first kill!!!.. and be safe out there!..
  2. OH MAN!!,, THE NERVE!!.. Good Find Pete.. Jersey, I say go get em.. as long as rick agrees.. Why would someone do that.. just not cool at all.
  3. I would love to.. and might.. eventually.. only thing is money for me right now.. i am trying to save for SEZS6.. heh.. someone want to donate a cam?? A man can dream right??.. hehe

  5. I like the 7mGTE. As long as you do as suggested by Yasin and JT. It is a great motor. There is a member here (Clifton) with over 500RWHP 7mGTe in his Z. Also Tony240ZT has a 7MGTE with great success. I personally saw a old 85 celica/supra with a 7m swap run a 12.2.@116. pretty impressive.
  6. Here is Triumph the insult dog talking to all of the freaks supporters.. OMG.. I cried laughing so hard.. http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2672935
  7. Help me Obi Wan Kanobi..... your my only hope.. hahaha
  8. Yasin' date=' Here are a couple pics of the 1JZ truck.. [img']http://album.hybridz.org/data/528/medium/8527josh_truck2.jpg[/img]
  9. Yeah Like Mike said, Autometer. They fit in the stock location quite nicely.
  10. HAHAHAHA.. nice.. yeah right now I am good to be running 10psi. By the time I can run more then 20psi of boost, I might need a new guage anyways..
  11. Well I first installed it where the clock was. Sitting here through TS ARLENE, I was bored and decided I wanted to put the boost guage where the temp/oil gauge was. So I took the oil/temp gauge out and extended the wires. Well here are the pics.. Actually the boost guage is alot easier to see in its new location. I am going to install a EGT gauge on the pillar pod.

  13. Yeah mike that is freaking great. Has me looking at getting a cam made or something.. Just have to learn more about them. Great JOB!
  14. It is Cast iron and hard to weld to. I Think jersey was able to do it though. So, if done right it can be done.
  15. Akwikz, NICE!!.. it is coming along very nicely, There is another Hakosuka on the board as well.. Greenmonster80 has one and should be out and running around pretty soon. I would really love one.
  16. Not too bad for the maiden voyage to the track, you didnt break anything and a nice mph to boot only can go up from here.. or down rather.. . I wish I could have been there.. Oh wait. .. I was.. hehe..
  17. You might want to PM GrayZEE. He has the ability to get the stock T3 Flanges made for you.
  18. Great looking conversion! I have seen your Z before and always liked it.
  19. Zgad writes:: "Ofcourse you'll get to ride in the 2JZ Z!! Half the fun is building it, the other half is giving people rides in it!!" Raises hand!. ME TOO ME TOO!.. heh. Man I sure cannot wait to see this ride as well mike. Maybe catch a ride or 2 on sept 11th.
  20. just at the time I got the 90's. It was before I did a serious amount of research.. if I ever make another one.. it will be out of 45's
  21. Well I had just purchased the pipeing right before SEZS5 when scottie told me he knew where one of his was and the price. So I got that one from him and put this DP on the back burner. Well I decided to go ahead and make it. Just to see if I could do it. Let me tell ya. it was not super easy. lots of measureing before cutting. Luckly I got the SS flange from Garrett at SEZ5 as well. I think all in all it turned out looking pretty good. Not sure if I want to venture into this or not. I have to use my Z as a template and taking my DP on and off is not hard but kinda a pain. At anyrate.. the good news is, It is done and looks nice I think.. The bad news is, It is already sold. Well good for me I guess. hehe.. EDIT::.. OOPS, I should have put this one section down on the exhaust. sorry about that. this is before the cleaning and polishing, Just after I had it Tigged. Test fit on the Z to make sure everything clears All pollished for the new owner
