I have seen that one in danville, it has a blower on it with out a hood.

I was out driving my Ls1 RX7 and I ran into a very clean blue 240z. The Lic was Tru 350z, had panasports on it. It is nice to see some z-cars on the road, I wish there where more. Does anyone know the specs on this car?

Cyrus The best RX7 is one with out the rotary.
JTR sells LT headers for them.
Put a LS1 in it.
Do you still have your Z? I have not seen you at the track.

My best 60' on drag radials is 1.58 60'.

Put a LS1 in your RX7, that is what I did.

I hope that you dont plan to drag race it with the 280zx cv's. They will not hold up to slicks.
-
Dale, when do you think you will have you 280z on the road?

I hope to see some Z,cars at the track.

Tim when are you going to put a LS1 in your car?
Mark looking good.

Tim the early 5.3 have a cable and the later years switched to drive by wire throttles. You can buy any 5.3 and then just put on a cable TB. 5.3 motors are cheap on ebay now.

Congrats Mark, When will you have it on the road?
David you are next in line to get your swap done.

blueovalz the 280zx will hold up to track racing but not drag racing. If you stay away from the drag strip then they will last you a long time. As soon as you put on some sticky tires and try to launch they will brake. I know eian that drives a Viper blue 240z with a 280zx turbo motor has broken a few of them also. And he runs a 300rwhp 280zx turbo motor that runs mid 12's in the 1/4.
Cyrus I did not know that the q45 diff comes with a 3.11 gear? That would be a nice gear to have.

My 240z has the 4l60e in it so I cant tell you how the t56 would be in the z-car. But my 1993 Ls1 RX7 does have a t56 in it. Right now I have 4.08 or 4.10 gears in it. I still find 1st very usable, I use 6th gear over 60mph. The t56 will not be as fast but it will be alot of fun.

The 280zx cv axles are very week and they will not hold up.
Cyrus are you going to be at the cmi races in Sac on the 2nd?

Tim it is 9370010 .
I know that you are driving to the BayArea, do you want it?

I have a free chevy 350v8 4bolt block. The block has been bored .030 over, new cam bearings, it has never been used. This is just the block, no pistons, rods, crank. Free------pick it up in the BAYAREA,CA.

Use a engine lift. LS1/t56 with acc is 605lbs..
-
DaleMX With heads like these you should run 10's. I might put on some ported heads some day. How long until you have it up and running.

oodles and oodles of play money.......boy' date=' wouldn't that be nice!! I bet that Dodge Dealership is kicking itself!!
So what's the fit and finish like?[/quote']
I was looking at a 05 vette last weekend, the fit and finish was very poor. This is typical of chevy, I love the look of the car I just wish that chevy spent more time on the small items.

Make sure that you go with a 13/4" header for a LS1. Anything smaller and you are going to have power loss.

I will see if I have a pic of my mount that I can mount.
You can buy the adapters here in the Bay Area, no need to order them.
