I hit my logo everytime i post. I am just too lazy to go into profiles again and turn it on auto. it is kind of like my projects. My car is just 2 mins away but i havent gone to work on it in like 2 months because of knee surgery and lazyness.

I hear ya! My two projects have gone no where since i tore both down. My Z is sitting there with its cancer cut out, waiting for me to get a welding. And my electric scooter I am doing chassie renforcement and suspension upgrades. Yes it is a small electric scooter, but it is a chick magnet soon to be running 20's. My goal is 30 mph. I hit 16 all stock.

Man i wonder if my speedo was off. I had an 83T in my 77 running the 77 tranny(5 speed) and 3.54 gears. I would hit about 70 near the end of 2nd. I wonder if maybe the wrong cog is in there throwing off my speedo.

Yeah, the vibes play off real big. I worked at a frm that trained race horses. They feed off your vibe mostly, except the one that was trying to rape me, i dint think i gave off that vibe. I have never jumped as high then to jump a fence than i ever did playing basketball. A 7 foot tall fence is pretty small when you hear their thing beating against their stomach and you hear em running at ya.

The one i was talking about was the one all the way to the right. It is tought to see how thick it is from the picture or withought ever seeing it in person. But seeing the bracket is straight and has the extra material on the side that makes more of a almost triangular design would seem to have more strength, but like i said earlier it is tought to tell withought pictures. And don't take it as me bashing anyones product, i would just like to as stong as possible rail on the market. I wouldn't want mine to leak. Call it brainstorming.

That was what i was thinking. And there are a lot more 240sx's than turbo 280ZX's. I am more worried about the input shaft. I will find out and damn that was a quick response.

Alright, a whie back I had seen a 240Z with a 240SX engine (ka24) and it was using their stock transmission (240Z tranny). My question is will the 240SX tranny bolt up to our engine. these transmissions seem to be strong, and my friend has one laying around. I have my engine out of the car but it is on a stand mounted to the rear. Maybe sometime this week i will try and get the metal plate that goes betweem the tranny and the engine that the starter goes through from his tranny and see if it matches up to mine. has anyone ever seen this done? He just traded his 240SX for an RX7 and now has a spare 5-spees laying around.

You think the 1 horsepower is a lot from on it, wait till you stand behind it. Then you will be gland it is only 1 horsepower. That 1 horsepower knocked me out cold, just by catching my knee. Lucky i could walk after. Ironically, two years later i finally go to the doctor after knee problems in that knee and my knee cap hangs to the side.

Eclipse injectors 0-rings are the same size as most top feed import injectors. I have seen many honda's and Nissan's running around with them injectors. And plus many aftermarket injector companies make them for those applications now. And they are also low impedence. Also, after looking at Pallnets rail and the jag's rail, i did notice something. On the Jag's you can see on their mount, there is suppot on the side that prevents the rail from moving. I feel as withought that it there seems there is more room to flex. That of course is just going by looking, I dont have the two to compare in front of me to see. i hope you all can undersatnd what i am saying, i will try and edit the picture to show you.

Thanks, I figured no one else would care. I am going to try and get my car as aerodynamic as possible. Before i started stripping my car it was downright scarry on the highway. I was even thinking making one but because i have no experience with CF it would be made fully of aluminum, but i would like something lighter.

Ok, here is an idea, but i bet most people on here wouldnt feel the need for it. How about and underbody rear diffuser. This is something serious road racers would enjoy. I see many of these on NSX's, Supra's, and RX7's. These are usually a mix of carbon fiber and aluminum, but may be very difficult to make.

The CA is a very good motor. I beleve it is related to the RB series. The L28et would probably not be the best choice, as the sr20 is probably the best. If you want to go I6 go RB. I think Sport Compact Car had a how to drop a rb series motor into you 240sx. It is really a simple swap. But the CA in their currently is a very strong and reliable engine with lots of potential. I would say keep and mod that engine, or go SR20DET depending how deep your pockets are.

Isnt that considered a rising rate? As boost increased it rises your fuel pressure. I will have to check my MSD catalog tomarrow for some more specs if i cant find any on the net. It doesnt state the psi range it works with.

I'd say go for it. I am planning on doing it myself. I have touched almost everything but the bottom head. I have a tubular manifold, k26 turbo, will have an upgraded cam soon, megasquirt, larger injectors, and a lot of other crap, but basically even with some bolt ons it is worth it. I for sure WILL buy a hatch, my car is hlaf fiberglass to begin with and my rusty old hatch was going to be replaced with a fiberglass one. Unfortunatly i am force to go with showcars, so if anyone can produce one that is somewhat reasonable (IE not $700) i would buy in a heartbeat. Ryan
