  1. Thats just it, i have a bare head, but got it for nearly nothing. I am covered though. I will have some and Msa got back to me telling me they made a mistake, they said turbo and non turbo were the same. They gave me a quote for i think the hydrolic ones, hence twice the price.
  2. Does anyone have a source for turbo rocker arms. MSA sells them for $27.62 a piece. I am going to be doing some head work on a spare one i picked up that was bare and i want to do the whole head over and use a slightly larger cam for mor mid to top end. I am switching from my hydrolic to this mechanical and i am pretty sure the hydrolic wont work. Thanks. And for those who werent sure, turbo and non turbo rockers are NOT the same.
  3. Wow, those are AWSOME....... ok only if you are going cow tipping, which in california ina z i highly doubt. Pull em off and give them to your local redneck.
  4. I've always found more tire options going in a 15", but then again I have ben looking for a 275 in a 16". In a 15" you can get just about any tire size, and the same with 17", 16" is like the forgotten size in wide tires.
  5. I am running a whole new harness, but my injectors are going to be high impedence, so no need to use the resistor packs. I havent decided on the flow rate though. I still have to get my pigtails for the gm sensors and some more wire and i should be done. I managed to use just about 3" of 18 gauge and fit it all through that small hole in the silver case. Soldering that was such a bi*tch. I hope they hold, i dont wanna bust that caes open again. Thanks guys.
  6. Yeha thats basically what i am doing, but for the grounds and injectors wiring seems too large to solder to the connector. Should i use a smaller gauge wire to soider to the connector and then increase the size. Does anyone have any good pics of their job. thanks.
  7. Ok, i ambout to start wiring my megasquirt into a engine harness. Coming of the DB-37, did you all go from 18 gauge until you get chrome plastic end and then go up to the larger gauge wires? I was thinking about how I can make those huge wires fit on that small connector, especially the grounds. I am using 12 gauge for the grounds because I seem always to have ground problems and want to be safer than sorry later. So should i just use 3 inch of 18 gauge off the connector then go larger? That seems like the only real choice. Thanks.
  8. resident evil was a good movie. been playing the games for years. the second one looks good too, it will be out in a few months. i think he is just hoping he will get the same results jason vs. freddy got the opening weekend.
  9. Dont know how much they weigh, but a company does make fiberglass parts, but i dont recomend them. Showcar body parts is their name. I have been contemplating getting their hatch, but i really am afraid it wont be nice looking.
  10. It is mostly the light , actually i am pretty pale for being mostly italian and native american, but it must be the tiny bit english that is me that traces back to the damn mayflower. Them damn brits made me pale.
  11. http://www.jskinnovations.com will have a kit out shortly. i am sure Juan will chime in when he gets a chance.
  12. Yeah, i torn my inferior patella tendon or something like that. When i walked my knee cap would pop out to the side instead of going up and down. I can actually feel my knee cap now that they pulled all tat blood out, but it didnt reall take away from all the swelling on the side.
  13. yeah i just went this morning and they drained about 75ml of blood from the swollen part on the lfet side of my knee. It is still big, but i am going back in a week to see if they still need to drain more. And let me tell you how sick i feel after them putting that big needle to pull out theat blood moving it around in my knee and pushing on it to get everything out. I think i actually need to lat down after just thinking bout it. Eww.
  14. Ok, maybe they arent that nasty, no blood or nothing just gross, just a lot of swelling and bruising. Check out my album. I posted them but when you view them they go the opposite order that i posted them so they referencec the pic before them. Oops. These were taken 4 days after and i havent improved yet over 1 week later. My knee still looks like Rocky Dennis' face.
  15. i found on his site a phone # I hope it works. http://www.tgsi.com/auto.html Lets see tomarrow.
  16. Ok, about a month and a half ago he posted something for sale in ZCAR.com's classifieds. It has been four weeks since i sent him the money for these items which racked up to quite a bit of dough. I had confermation the day my money was recieved and he would sent out the merchandise for weeks from this monday. Anywho, i havent heard from him since. he used to race in california and has won some scca events so i figured one of you out there might know him. i just found a second email address for him and am hoping he will respond from that. His email address is tracked back to TGSI.COM. Here i believe he is part of a Opel parts service so i figured he should be fine. I took some percautions as far as payment, but i am hoping i wont have to go that far. If anyone has any information on Bob Dennard, please let me know. Thank you.
  17. Yes in the manifold would be best but slightly more difficult than in the intake piping before the TB. i thought about in the intake but i didnt want to chance messing it up, and i figure depending on where in the intake manifold could change temp aslo, like say if the turbo is sitting at the #4&5 it may be warmer there. Probably wouldnt make much of a difference, but i also wanted the inake to be clean looking, thats why i am going to get rid of most things on it. JMEAD, choose which ever one you want and good luck. Oh, yeah, you can use the GM sensor for coolant temp (TSU81 at advance auto that costs like $8) but you have to tap the whole for i belive 3/8NPT which is just slightly larger.
  18. I forgot you had those pictures. alright, how about colton in a bikini (even thought he is a he).
  19. The best place to really mount it is before the throttle body though. That will give the best reading of the air temp ctually going into the engine. At least with a turbo car because of an intercooler.
  20. 3/4 naked? You want to make sure some of the younger people can access the site.
  21. Hey Juan, I think thats what your website needs. there is nothing like a half naked woman holding a fuel rail or a set of rotor hats.
  22. Yeah, thats just a dead petal there to the left. But i must say that is sick. Oh to have to money to do that kind of swap.
  23. Sweet. So i guess i should get started on making a harness whhile i am stuck in the house on the disabled list.
  24. So if it is optical i wont need a ignition module with the MSD, and the msd cover the dwell, correct. I have to go through the manual when i get a chance.
  25. Here's a stupid question, but for those running MSD's with msns, are you using a ignition module? Can you Just run that wire to the ignition box instead?
