    I am about a week behind you. What did you use for painting your front end? I was going to use POR 15, but because i have a 1 piece front end i am afraid it would discolor from the sun. Do you plan on getting yours done this summer? If so, I know there is a Z track event this july i think in Syracuse. Ryan

    That looks really good. I am looking for something to do with the rear end because with the wide body kit i have it makes it look odd, too bland or something. Does that rear end come off just like in 1 peice? It looks like a fiberglass replica. Looks like i might have to take a trip to a junkyard soon.

    Just as something new to throw into the fire, Phantom Grip has made a special one now for the Z's that is suppose to hold more power than their top one did before. If you look on ebay it is their extreme one. I emailed them a long time ago and they were aware that the ones advailable at the time werent strong enough for modded Z's. The new ones should be much better but i have no experience with them. I would buy one and test it out but my car wont be ready for a long time.

    I dont know, but i can check it out. I have a l28et sitting mostly taken apart and i work at a parts store with access to hundreds of timing chain gears and other stuff. I am sure i could try to devise somethiing similar and if i find something that works come up with a soild desigh and find out how much it would cost to reproduce.

    Yeah, when i meant cheap i meant less that 550. Probably still up there just around that price, because i am sure trying to get a group to buy them through whoever their distributor was would be very difficult. Also, i know it is wrong to copy it but it something you just have to ask. Maybe change some of it to where there could be something it could use to better their design, if that is possible.

    I say you get a machinist to make some nice copies and sell them for cheap, but enough to pay for the original. We need these parts here to be advailable in the US. You should contact some Z part manufacturers.

    Yeha i have that sute on favorites already. I was looking to see a stock subrame rail to a new subframe connector to see where they cut, and preferably from the outside of the car looking at the other side from the wheelwell.

    Not to stal the topic but i have been looking at others sites and pics and i havent seen how people at doing the subframe connectors up where the factory thin ones attach where th T/C rod attaches under the front subframe rail. I am in the middle of the doing floors and decided to do subframe connectors and am not sure what to do with the front before i start cutting that support rail.

    Even still they are some what big. Check for 240Z Turbo, he had a twin turbo set up using Mitsubishi turbo's i believe.

    these are aftermarket pistons so they dont say p90 on them. But which ones are you referring to as the ring lands. i measured all three and the first two were near 1.5, and the third (bottom) and largest one was about 2mm. i say about because i didnt have anything that read mm but a feeler gausge and just added up all the different gauges.

    Are all dished pistons turbo pistons. I ask this because i got my hands on some dished pistons out of a ZX turbo block for basically nothing, but it was not turbocharged and had a different head on it. I remember someone saying how the turbo piston rings are different. I may not evevn run these pistons, but they were part of the package i got from him so i didnt complain.

    I just got one of ebay that is a universal harness for $155 shipped. It is color coded and each individul wire is labeled. It is a 18 fuse, 21 circuit harness. each section is bundled and seperated. Very nice peice. Even comes with general instructions and will be very easy with all aftermarket guages an megasquirt running my engine.

    Once i must of hit my coolant temp sensor and knocked the plug off. It would just start and flood and kill the plugs. Is yours flooding trying to start or after?

    The funniest thing is the other day i got a call at work, which i work at an autoparts store, and it was a lady who was told at another parts store her exhast problem was the muffler bearings. Now i tried seriously hard to figure out what her problem really was withought laughing. I was hoping it was a prank call, but someohow i dont think it was.

    Something there is not functional. You cant have headers like that and a turbo. I think that car has to be a joke.

    Ok, with the search function down i am stuck here. I remember someone saying summit carries the hyperflex system real cheap and gave a part number, but i have searched their site with no avail. Does anyone remember the number seeing how i cant find it with the search down. I tried to go back in pages and got through page 9 and didnt find it. Thanks Ryan
