  1. Holy crap those are cool. Thanks Brian, I think I'm going to do some cutting and figure something out!
  2. I think I might just cut some vents in mine hahaha
  3. I need a vented 280Z hood. I have a '73 hood on my '75 and I'd like the vents for cooling
  4. Woo! I was wondering how your Z was doing. I was going to say that your bushings looked pretty shot haha. Looks great now! And I'm going to check out that other thread. I believe I've been reading through it but I can't remember. Congrats a strong runner!
  5. I believe it is a Motorsports steering wheel. Its pretty nice and came with the car. The adapter blends pretty nicely too http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/SWM/50-3134
  6. Yikes! I haven't had that type of problem with shipping companies before. I can't believe that driver was SERIOUS. Glad you got it all settled....for the drivers sake! Subscribed to this thread as of now. Can't wait to see what you do with the new Z.
  7. Hey everyone, I'm getting twice pipes put on my Z this thursday so I thought I would do a before and after video. Specs on the car are as follows: N42 block with a P79 head MSA 3-2-1 header with 2/2.5 inch piping Some type of generic muffler. Turbo muffler? I don't have a clue. Old catalytic converter. Other than that...stock stock stock. Here's the link
  8. Do it. I had twice pipes on my '78 and they sounded amazing! Doing the same thing to my '75 this week. Videos on their way!
  9. Then I will check it out thanks! And btw, LOVE your Z.
  10. Numero uno is my opinion. I do like the second choice too however
  11. If that is your Z in your avatar, the orange one, your paint is already better than mine
  12. Hey guys. Got some good news and some bad news. Good news is that I got that damn body kit off save the bumper. Looks ten times better! I'll get some pictures up soon. Been busy over here with midterms and such. Bad news is that the Z is running horrible. Its been stuttering since I bought it and I thought it might improve once I started driving it since it hadn't been driven much the past year and a half. Scratch that theory! The timing was off so I brought it to where it should be and then adjusted the idle speed to 800rpms. Sounds great when idling but give it gas and it just sputters and sometimes dies. So I played around with the air intake and replaced a lovely black air filter but still a no go. I'm taking it to Precision Z up in Canoga Park so they can diagnose the problem. I also have a lovely clunk when reversing so that's been fun to deal with in parking lots! Haha. I'll keep you guys updated.
  13. I'm going to be going to Precision Z up in Canoga Park on Thursday and my 5-speed transmission is acting up too so I'll ask on the price for a rebuild. Check 'em out. Seems like a pretty legit place from the website. http://www.precisionz.com/Services.html
  14. Who knows what shape the frame rails are in....the rust in the bumper was scary enough
  15. Do you have more pictures of your sub setup in the spare tire well?
  16. That was a wicked ZX. Good luck with the insurance and I'm glad your dad is doing a-ok.
  17. ^Holy crap! I'm going to be doing the same thing soon....looks like funnnn
  18. That looks really good for $20 and some time
