  1. Well that didn´t work...There is no room for boost pipes. Only way compressor can be rotated is when boost pipe is directly up, and then it hits to hood. I think I need to relocate alternator so I can mount that charger lower.
  2. Lets hope that won´t happen. First plywood mockup of that SC bracket. Feel free to comment if you find some faults with this. This is my first supercharger build so all help would be appreciated.
  3. My new engine is now assembled. It is stroked to 3.0 litres and compression is 10:1. Head is rebuild and slightly ported. I changed plans and decided to supercharge it because I found used Rotrex C38-71. That means I need to upgrade also clutch, fuel pump and injectors.
  4. AFR, original fuel/amp and clock. Going to replace that fuel/amp at some point. Maybe with oil temp. Also speedhut afr gauge would look better than innovate that I currently have so maybe that too.
  5. Heres one M62 project. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/120425-240z-bmw-m62-conversion/
  6. Heres my 4" revolution series.
  7. This is mount that I did for my shortnose R200. Don´t have any cracking issues yet, but could be so because I don´t have much power. However that design put lots of stress to those 4 bolts.
  8. They sell replica at WHP and MSA. Are those glass fiber? Isn´t original urethane or something similar? http://whiteheadperformance.com/products/classic-european-air-dam-front-spoiler-datsun-240z-260z/ http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/50-1636
  9. Velocity stacks are done. Took quite a few practice runs, but finally managed to get 6 somehow good. https://instagram.com/p/8725GEDVDX/?taken-by=teemume
  10. I send you .stp file and also found .dxf files that were used to cut those sheetmetals. Be aware that this mount puts differential quite high. I needed modify floor panels to make enough room for it. Also that beam that is behind diff needed to be modified.
  11. Well I think that dyno is quite optimistic because that torque is maybe too much from 2.8 litre engine. That´s almost 120nm/l, which is at Ferrari territory. However 1/4 mile final speed was 175kmh which is quite in line with hp and weight. I have already gathered parts for 3 litre 13:1CR engine so going to build that in next winter. Going to use aluminium block which is about 20kg lighter than that iron block.
  12. Im afraid I have only 3D model of that mount. I can email that if it helps? I remembered that some of those parts needed to be modified and I added extra support but those parts were good starting point. And I also needed to bend that right side sheet. And for that new companion flange I dont have drawing. They did it by themselves is machine shop. My first idea was to make it by using original companion flange and weld adapter to that. As that seems to be what most people are doing. But they said in machine shop that they can do me a whole new flange so I think that was better. Here is drawing of that welded adapter that I first was going to use. Idea was to make original flange round with lathe so it can easily be centered to that adapter before welding. That white part is original flange after lathe work. Hope those helps.
  13. Driving season is soon to be over so needed to figure some new project for winter. So I designed ITB´s for my car. Going to use ready made manifold, RB26 throttles, and rest of the parts needs to be manufactured. Also those RB26 ITB:s are too wide so they need to be modified. What air filters have you used with ITB´s? In that design I used largest oval K&N filter element.
  14. Found original front valance and replaced that MSA front spoiler. Like this look much better. Engine bay is quite a mess, so need to weld all those extra holes and get it painted again. Also need to hide those electric wires.
  15. There was used S52 engine that has rear sump. That engine fits S30 engine bay like it was designed to be there.
  16. I think that you can use M30 oil pan. Some of those have rear sump. Nice to see that someone else is also using BMW engine.
  17. That is converted engine power and this is not stock engine. Compression is 12.8:1 instead 10:1, cams, ported head, manifold, and MS3. And because I use E85 there could be used high spark advance without knocking.
  18. I took car to dyno today. 273hp, 334nm. That high compression + E85 really helps!
  19. Well its long and dark winter in here, so theres much time to spend in garage. Got car back to the road again. I dropped engine and transmission off, because it seemed almost impossible to remove transmission with engine in place, because it is placed so close to fire wall. Changed new gasket to transmission and put everything back together. And after small test drive there was no oil leak. So hopefully I can now book new dyno time and get this thing tuned.
  20. I attended to local car show. Pics taken by our club member. IMG_6473 by felix200SX, on Flickr IMG_6159 by felix200SX, on Flickr IMG_6526 by felix200SX, on Flickr Have been driven few hundred kilometers, and have been doing basic tuning to MS3. There is oil leak from thansmission so it needs to fixed before I can get this dynotuned. Also redid exhaust. There was 2x 2.25" with two straight through mufflers. However that was loud as hell, so now there is 1 x 2.5" with 2 mufflers...and now it is almost too silent.
  21. Exhaust is now done. 2x 2.25" pipes with 2 mufflers in middle and 1 in back. Ground clearance is much better than with my old MSA twice pipes.
