  1. Try PMing or emailing RIPS, as a RB tuning shop, Rob will be up on the state of play with RB30's
  2. Coats, not gloves... warm as toast I tan my own skins
  3. You're in the right country to see 20,000 rabbits at a single show! here, 200 is a BIG show.
  4. Thats not a bunny with a pancake... That is a Dutch with a Pikelet. (I breed and show rabbits, so I know the breed those are small rabbits, a full sized pancake or flapjack would cover the whole rabbit )
  5. Gimme a Sawzall, a box of Duct Tape, 2 grand in small denomination, used bills, and an air fare over, and I can do it for you in a few hours
  6. If you REALLY want to know what happens in the Admin room, check out http://www.theregister.co.uk/odds/bofh
  7. looks more like y'all went and bolted up a dato whell just for the "OMG" factor posting it on this thread
  8. Google "SAAB 9-5 HUD" images, and browse through and discard all the new 2010 model stuff, you want about mid 90's I believe, should be some of them in junkyards by now.
  9. What do I think? I think if you're goign completely custom dash to fit a new instrument cluster to, get a Saab HUD unit and fit that. Especially if you know any Jet Jockeys
  10. http://www.aliexpress.com/product-gs/269103650-Nissan-350Z-gull-wing-door-Vertical-door-Kit-auto-vertical-door-wholesalers.html
  11. Don't the NEOs also have a mm or so smaller valve? why not take the piston and head to a machinist and have the head milled out to have chambers accommodating the piston?
  12. Heres a parts Question, what do you think of Probe SRS pistons and 4340 Lightweight I beam rods?
  13. IIRC without going to look at the saved links I have, RB26DETT wrist pins are further up the piston, so distance between wrist pin centre and piston deck is shorter, hence why RB25 pistons don't work on the 26 crank/rods, they'd be way out of the bore trying to occupy the spark plugs space. The RB25 and RB26 rod length is IIRC the same, so the higher pin is used instead of a shorter rod to allow for the longer stroke. So yah, you're out of luck with pistons, can't use 25's on the 26 crank.
  14. You'd need one heck of a flywheel to even out the pulses, that would be no better than a 2 cyl.
  15. That would be great Mike, the location of the Dipstick would be useful as well, how far from the front and rear of the pan, it would be a pain if the pan is made and needs it's own little dipstick instead of just using the stock one.
  16. Stroked 20a, the L28 has a larger bore and longer stroke than the L20a, putting L20 pistons on the L28 rods and cranks gives more displacement. Or you can use the L20 crank and rods with L28 pistons in the L28. Use the search button and there is a LOT of info on here. Bores, Strokes, Block details, Head chamber sizes, compression ratios... If you post on http://www.zclub.co.nz there are a number of Chch Kiwis with Z cars of various stripes, I picked up my rolling shell from Chch.
  17. Thanks for the pics and measurements Joel Mine is going to be a heck of a lot simpler than the RIPS pan, but those measurements let me know the important bits, the missing measurements can be worked out with trig, cosines, all that stuff... I need to find my high school maths texts
  18. Land Rover and 4wd becoming synonymous outside the US, and Wileys Jeep inside the US, now theres a pleathora of 4wds in almost every car makers repertoire Hilux for being so damn tough Top Gear couldn't kill one.
  19. Room Temperature Vulcanising liquid rubber gasket material. Any auto store and the auto section of any reasonable department store or hardware store will have it on the shelf.
  20. L6 or RB? If RB, LinkECU from Chruistchurch NZ has a plug n play ECU which plugs right up to the RB loom plug and is literally "remove stock ecu, plug in LinkECU, start car, drive off" if you have a bone stock RB. simplicity of installation, combined with fully programmable aftermarket ECU features... what more could you want!
  21. If you ask nicely on zclub.org.nz I think some of the auckland members might be open to having a look for you, or might know it already from around town.
  22. Add me to the $20 for the bonfire list I note there's a number already offering to throw in on a burn fest 800 divided by 20 = 40, only 40 members needed to get that wing burnt
