Yea, Ive seen this car its been to my house when the owner bought sum parts from me. Its in decent shape, and with sum work could be a really nice car. Plus its a real red and black!!!

Head light cases? Are you talking about the bracket they are mounted to or the head light buckets? I have both. I have 2 buckets from a black car and 2 from a blue car. both out of 81 zxt's. PM me.

I have a brand new afm, never been used, and still has the sticker/label on it. I bought it to install on my 75 but then I found out nothing was wrong with my old one. PM me and maybe we can work something out. Its still under warranty!!

Yes it was venting to the atmosphere. Well I guess ill remove it and try with out it.

The reason i never removed the recirculation valve was becuse i took an extra j pipe and sawed odd the 180 degree bend and mated that to the 2 1/2 inch pipeing i used. Also the vacume reading was at 20psi with the I/C installed and 18 with just the stock j-pipe.

Thanx 4 the quick responces. Sorry I have not read the book Maximum Boost. I will put that on my list of things to order! As for the the thing that connects to runner #4, I never removed it. Should I have? All i did remove was the POV and some of the vacume lines that run across the top of the eng. I did plug everything up. I spoke to a friend and he informed me that he remembers that the 81 zxt had a stock bov incorporated on the eng. I guess the I/C I have might be a bit of an over kill. Guess i have my weekend laid out for me.

I also have a BOV installed. I read here when i searched that a bov is not needed unless you are doing major mods to the eng for big H/P. Is there any truth in that?

I recently installed an aftermarked I/C. I beleive the size is 23 by 17 by 3. Since i installed it, the car shaked,sputters,(etc) quiet violently. I removed it and reinstalled the original j-pipe and everything seems to be fine? The inter cooler was originally intended for a toyota supra(2JZ). The out lets are 3in on both sides, which i routed into 2 1/2 inch pipeing. I have a manual boost control whis I set at 10 psi. This is on a 81 zxt. Thank you

You could always get a detachable steering wheel!!! Car thiefs dont always carry one of those in their bag of tricks! Or just keep a pitbull in your car at night!

Well Im just cleaning up the bay a little by little. I finally received all of my I/C set up stuff and i want as much room as possible so the install will not be a pain in the a$$. Plus Since I've gotten rid of most of my emission stuff it feels like I freed up some hp. The car seems to run a little stronger. I also just installed my manual boost control. Amazing how much of a difference the car pulls at 10 psi of boost. I'm very impressed!! As for the fuel vent line, I bought a gun cleaning kit and took the metal reamer out of it and cut it down and inserted it into a 1 inch long piece of rubber tubeing to make a small filter to put over the line. It seems to be working quiet well. Ill just pull it out once a month to clean it up.

Im in the process of getting rid of my emissions stuff. I pulled out the carbon filter canister and was wondering, what should i do with the vent line? Capp it off? remove it. Oh this is on my 81 zxt.

Well its just what the title says, I have a 75 280z, its a complete car but currently has the eng and 4 speed out. 90 % rust free. Make me an offer, i just need it gone. I also have a 81 zxt with the 3 speed auto. Eng was overhauled 3000 miles ago. was going to do the 81 turbo swap into the 75 but Im in the military and I have to transfer soon. Cant take them with me! Make me an offer and you can have them both!!!!! Im in Oak Harbor WA. (Whidbey Island). Area code 98277. Also a bunch of misc parts layin around. Im not really wanting to ship I prefer pick up but, who knows!! lol
