  1. Well im sorry to hear that this guy is a scamer. I was wondering about it and why I have not heard much about it on this site. I figured if it was true quiet a few people would have mentioned it on here. I really feel bad fot the guy who lost 4000$ dollars to him. What an a$$hole.
  2. Im wondering if they are members here on HBZ? I checked again today on youtube and realized that my questions did not post...Grrrrrrr. So I guess I'll give it a try again today when I get home from standing this stupid watch.........tick,tock,tick,tock!! Oh Tony, out of what car would the have gotten a 2.0 liter out of to make 500 rwhp?
  3. and i was right! That you would be the first to post on that question!! LOL And yes to everything you said too. I did some more reading but didnt find much. The guys in the video on youtube said there is a guy in Mobil AL who is doing that eng conversion???? I posted a question to them on youtube asking for more info, such as price, and what parts I would need to supply, but no answer yet. If i do get a good answer ill post it.
  4. Hello everyone, I was on youtube today watching yasin's video he put up a while back. Nice car by the way!! Anyways, I found a few 280zxt videos and one of them said it had a street fighter package!!!! Has anyone heard of this package before and what it all entails?? Oh I also was not sure in what section to post this so if it get's moved I'll understand!! LOL If you want to the the video I was talking about, just type 500 hp 280zx on youtube. Its a white zx. He's running over 500 hp with a/c!! And no picking on me if this is something that has been out a while. I searched it here and found only one post.
  5. Looks like you are going the bozozuka route??? Seen that a lot while i was stationed in Japan. Hell I even had pipes like that on my toyota chaser at one time. Really loud though.
  6. jc, i didnt know about the stock bov either. I did some searching here and there IS a stock bov. It comes out of the #4 runner. I know what the POV is. Like I said b4 I got rid of it. Do some searching and you find out that there is a stock bov.
  7. Well Itd going to b a week b4 I get the car back. Its at a shop having the ic pipeing welded, a small dent getting pulled out and my rear dif being serviced. If you need pics sooner, search "intercooler" ic pipeing, Anything that pertains to the ic. Theres a bunch of photos of how people routed there ic piping. Its a pain in the ass if you dont have the right tools. I had to cut into the head light brackets to get mine to fit. I use 2 1/2 inch pipe. Goodluck dude!
  8. Yes I routed the vacume line from the bov to the #4 runner where the stock bov was. I removed the pov and installed a 1 in plug. So there is no leaking from a pov. Basicly myy bov was venting to atmosphere before. So there was some unmetered air. I read on here that you can rout the vacume line from the bov back inbetween the afm and the turbo, or route it back into the intake manifold. Since I was installing an after market bov, I got rid of the stock one that comes out of the #4 runner and that is where i ran my line to. After i did all that and adjusted the timeing some, the car runs really good and im very pleased with it. Searching and reading helped me out a lot. So I hope I helped out with some of the confusion.
  9. My bud has a 75 non egr manifold on his 82zxt. He also kept his heat shield since there was no longer any webbing.
  10. Hows good old yoko? I used to be stationed there. Well in atsugi...I was attached to the Indy and the Kitty! You in the Navy there?
  11. U looked at his stuff...lol, sorry had to do it!
  12. I have a 75 complete parts car too. If you need anything else.
  13. All you have to do is come and pick it up. I live on Whidbey Island. Oak Harbor. NOt far from you.
  14. I have one that im gonna install on my 81 zxt with t-tops. i hope it looks cool. If not ill just sell it.
  15. It was here at my house about 1 1/2 months ago. Sold him a few extra parts.
  16. Thanx everyone for all the info, I recirculated it into the #4 runner and it works like a champ!! As for beginer league, thanx for letting me know! I try to word things the best that I can, I mostly work on FA-18e,f,g models so in the avation world we sumtimes have to give parts new names. Again thank you, much happier now cuz I can finally enjoy what 13 psi feels like!!
  17. Thank you RTz, Ill give it a try in the morning. Its freekin cold in my non heated garage. Ill post after i plug it up.
  18. Well Im back in and i found a few things that i beleive i did wrong. 1st off I have a Greddy type s "purple top bov". I went out side and was looking at my set up. After a few minutes of staring at it, I realized that I had my bov located in the wrong spot. As compared to pics i searched for and how the install has been written up. I actually installed my bov inbetween the turbo and the ic instead of infront of the Tb. FU@k me!!!!!! Second it was not being recirculated back into the afm/turbo charge pipe. FU@k me again. So if I understand everything I've read correctly...maybe not. The BOV HAS to be inbetween the TB and IC. The closer to the TB the better?? Also once i install the BOV correctly, can i remove the stock bov that is located on the number 4 runner? Im sure both will not be need as stated in another thread. Thank You!!
  19. Ok, Well this is what i have in my system. The ports on my IC are 3 inches wide, reduced to 2.5. I have my bov located 4 inches in front of my tb. Which is the stock zxt tb by the way. I had to take the stock J-pipe and saw it just infront of the outlet tube that runs into the manifold. I added a reducer from the 2.5 pipe comming from the ic to the part of the j-pipe i kept. So i beleive flow is ok. When i removed my bov and substituted a regular 2.5 pipe in its place the car seems to run a lot better, except i hear a whoosh of air comming out of the intake??? So im going out to the garage right now to try to plumb in my bov inbetween the afm and turbo.
  20. I think i finally searched enough to find the answer. If it works, ill post what i did to fix it.
  21. Sorry bud, didnt realize i just thread jacked you. Mods if your not too pissed off, plz rethread this for me or delete it and ill rethread. Again my bad. 2:20 in the morning here......
  22. Well I've read a few of the posts about venting my bov back inbetween the afm and turbo. Espically how TonyD and Challenger explained it. I have a cheep e-bay bov as a trial one before I decide which type of bov I want to install. There are 3 openenings on it. 2 small ones. 1 which is fwd of the bov and the other at the aft of it. Then there is of course the large opening. With there being 3 openings on it, which one do i need to route down between the afm and turbo. Ive been running it with the bov venting to atmosphere and have been have issues with it stalling on me. So I removed the bov and capped it off. Car runs better but im afraid to go over 9 or 10 psi with out the bov or the pov. Mean while Ill keep searching for a pic of how the bov is routed.
  23. Whats up, I had my 81zxt for about a year b4 it did the same thing. I thought it was a loose connection becuse when i banged on the side of the radio it would come back on and stop changing stations. I finall gave up and ordered a full face plate cover and a cheep walmart radio and all is well now. And you dont have to deal with the tape deck any more either. My advice...., get rid of the stock radio unless you are going for the all stock look.
  24. The morat is the do=hicky next to the flux capicator. Makes the car go faster. ...lol
