    by the time you piece together the turbo kit, you'd have spent more than the price of an S52. but if you're going to turbo it i can see how this makes sense. Because the OP wants to race, i would suggest N/A. instant response, less parts to fail or a supercharger. the bmw motors respond well to this. i know a properly tuned and matched turbo system can have boost as low as 2500rpm or lower. however for the add'l cost. kinda seems prohibitive for only 300hp

    i think that's been chalked up to be a myth by many reliable sources. if you look at a BMW M20 engine, that thing has more bends and lengths than just about anything and it runs just fine.

    Again even so, 400hp na.. Only minimal weight gains and its just because it's not a "new" motor that the option gets over looked. I'm failing to see a downside.. It's not the cheapest option (sbc??) But it'll give you a car capable of beating 95% of cars off the line and you'll be able to get parts anywhere (not so with an RB)

    His pricing says 4 or 5k for the head bare.. It's like post 66. Even if it came out to be 10k fit everything that's about what most 2j swaps are and you'd have none of the hassles of fitment. And who knows what they'll be worth after

    again the DOHC head Derek is putting together will be cheaper than almost any swap, and guys think over 400HP will be attainable...NA.. thats before you turbo it. obviously 75% of picking the engine is by what you actually want but what other engine can meet your requirments and needs the least amount of work?? however, not an inline 6, I will be buying a Mazda 20b to throw into something in the next 2yrs...

    Check out the DOHC being developed in the L6 forum. Should make the L series high 300hp capable or higher..... NA.... nuff said

    Didn't you just do go off road last year? I think high hp sounds good, but really in this chassis, only 250-300hp is all you need. Hopefully you get her back on track soon.

    VERITECH i wish they had a like button... now i just hope the guys at JPN are open minded and are listening to customers. i think they have a good thing going, it just could use a few tweaks.

    I'm not sure if they were there before but I am a fan of the Z Speed Flares now on the website. regardless of the negative feedback here, i applaud you guys for continuing to develop parts for the S30 chassis. Datsun owners are some of the cheapest and pickiest car guys I've ever known, almost as bad as 1st and 2nd gen rx7 guys

    hmm seems better to hydro-dip the good fiberglass ones to a carbonfiber look or have them wrapped and leave the shoddy fitting ones alone. to answer your question, yes some have had to bend them a little to make them fit.

    i'm not sure how much more you can get maybe a 45deg angle from the rear? what are you not seeing that you need more of?

    I apologize. i'm looking for fenders like the OP posted above for the US spec front end, i beleive that kit on RHDJapan is for the GNose but the standard kit will work for the standard nose. thank you
