    I have a 73 that will be going up in a couple of weeks.It has an L28 motor and a five speed.I know you budgeted to 2500.00.I'm looking to get around 4000.00.I'm in the san diego area.The car has very minimul rust.Mostly some surface.Just an FYI Mike

    Rimal your the man baby! getting me motivated.I realy love the the paint color.Gotta get my Z up and running well before i hit the cosmetics.Probably next year.But i gotta come back to your post when i'm ready.Is the Z running? if so bring it to the temecula z show at the end of this month.I'm hoping to go.Awesome job!

    Hey Guys I want to change my interior to white.Looking for all plastic paneling and vinyl trim from a 72.It has to be true white NO PAINT JOBS PLEASE!Must be in really good condition.Also looking for a set of seats white would be nice but black is fine for now.I want the later model style that recline.Thanks Mike

    Hey guys I'm looking for another set of wheels.The size is 15-16 inch that will work with a 73 240Z.I don't want anything i need to use spacers with.Must be period correct.I have a set of swastikas and wouldn't mind another set.I also would love a set of panasports if the price is right,I would want those in a 16.I also like the mesh style wheels.Let me know what you have.Also please send pics.if you have a set with new tires that would be a plus.Thanks Mike 619-890-0553

    Some of the set ups i've seen so far are pretty creative.I had mine placed on the driverside kick panel.I still had access to the dead pedal.Very easy to get to and not terribly uncomfortable.

    oh man that looks awesome! did they come with center caps.i remember looking to get a set for my car way back when.someone replied to a post and said the center caps wouldn't work on the front.have you noticed that?

    had those on one of my Z's.the po had 16's on the car and wanted to keep them.so i test fitted my swasticas and no problem.they look a little close but definitely work.

    i would replace out the mastercylinder first.more than likely your problem.then hit the wheel cylinders next.make sure you bleed the system well.get all the air bubbles out.

    i have a buddy that has an 84 AE and is running a set of later model 350Z wheels on it.it looks insane! love how it gives it a more agressive look.thes are a matching set by the way.came off of some guys 350 when he upgraded to other wheels.i'll have to ask him about the offset.if he ended up putting the rears upfront.i'll reply when i find out.

    shika you said your car is lowered 3.5 inches.seems kind of low hows it working out for you? would love to see some pics of it.post some if you get a chance. Mike

    i notice alot of z guys tend to put those on the rear because it's a hot set up."yeah dude i have a rear sway bar too".never taking on the track.if your street driving a nice front set up is good.some good struts and springs will work.an early Z doesn't need a whole lot of upgrades to be a fun driver.people tend to over modify these little cars.really it's not that necessary.people were driving the heck out of these cars with the stock set up.

    thats funny,thing is i have seen cars in the past driving around town that way.maybe it was a backyard mechanic job or something.

    becarefull though make sure they'll let you test drive the car after it's done.meaning they'll swap out the tires if there is any rubbing whatssoever.i put 225's on a set of 15 inch swasticas and the fronts rubbed.this was on an early 71.broought it right back and went with 205's.225's will work just take it on a right around the block to make sure.

    you know i do have one question.what do you guys thing would be the safest over all strut and spring set up.just bolt in and go without any headaches.

    i had the illuminas on a 71 with i believe eibach springs.never had an issue.but then again i didn't drive it real hard.i have noticed on all the some of the 240's i've owned.that on the freeway the front end felt like it was in a tug of war match.it tended to pull slightly side to side.thanks for the write up guys.gave me some valuable info.
