  9. Tony's statement suggests that, in Japan, if you buy and sell art, as long as you sell a maintenance service with it, you may lay claim to having created it. So, in Japan, a piece painted by Monet, but sold by "X" art dealer is no longer considered a Monet painting. It is now a painting by "X".
  10. Hey jessejames, how about those dyno sheets?
  11. New Hampshire? Nooo! I heard rumors at this year's event that ZCON 2013 would be in San Diego. What happened to that? I can't get to New Hampshire

  13. Not helpful helix112. If this thread is useless I was hoping for a simple Moderator delete.
  14. First, the basics. What are the advantages over a regular 4 or 5 lug pattern? Second, it seems possible, there are conversion kits available through Forgeline, but is it practical? Their kit uses and adapter to fit over the lugs to provide a mechanism for the center lock. If there are benefits to center lock wheels over multiple lugs besides quick changes and a clean look, is it worth the $1600 they are asking? Can it be done for cheaper? Just some food for thought. Btw, here is the forgeline link. http://www.forgeline.com/products/center-lock-wheels-and-center-lock-conversion/center-lock-conversion/center-lock-conversion.html
  15. I wouldn't mind seeing a 160ZT... the Nissan juke's turbo 1.6L direct injected motor in a chassis ~2700-2800 lbs would not be so bad IMO. If power came up to 200+, and with a torque peak of 177 from 2k-5.6k rpm it would be a blast through canyons and on an autox course.
  16. Bringing this thread back to life! Anyone running an efr or gtx series turbo on their L engine? I would like to know more.
  17. Ditto. Thank you mods for keeping our forum performance oriented. As for the car, eh. Plenty of better examples of "speedy" S30s here on hybridz!
  18. Hey guys, My daily driver MR2 was hit last month and received only minor damage to the rear quarter panel and bumper on the passenger side. Farmers Insurance decided to total out the car and I've suddenly found myself in the used car market. I'm looking to replace my MR2 with another Z, 240Z-280ZX. Must be a MANUAL TRANSMISSION. It must be ready to assume duty as a daily driver, ie; REGISTERED AND READY TO PASS SMOG IF NEEDED, all weather seals intact, working electrical, windshield wipers, interior, decent paint, etc. I don't mind modifications if they are sensible and SMOG LEGAL. I have about $4K to play with. I am located in Santa Barbara,CA and I am willing to drive anywhere in CA south of the bay area to pick up a car. Shoot me some offers. Thanks, Howard K. Here is my "total loss" MR2 The paint is less than 1yr old!!!
  19. Looking for an intercooler with or without plumbing for my 72 240Z. Complete setup would be preferred. If you do have the plumbing Im looking for 2-2.5" Thanks, Howard K.
