  1. So I suck. But I am going to own that. I haven't posted any pictures, and I am no father ahead then where I was when the coilovers arrived..... except the pile of parts next to the car is growing. When time is what you have none off, the only progress you make is part shopping. So in two weeks time I will be up with a buddy welding the collars on for the coilovers. When my garage warms up I will finish cutting the remaining towers for the camber plates. I guess I need to pick a website to upload my photos because I cannot just plop them up on here, and well....time. In the parts pile..... Seat mounts from planted Sparco chronosport fixed backs Bpillar bar from TTT Subaru R180 STI 3.90 diff Ron tyler diff mount TTT moustache bar Wolf creek CV's and billet stub axles TTT RCA's TTT Wilwood front and rear brake kits TTT front hubs TTT GTcontroll arm and Tension rod combo kit TTT RCA TTTdelrin rack bushings TTTsteering coupler new rear wheel bearings and seals Picked up some 510 fender mirrors and leather ebrake boot and shifter boot BAMF ZG flares and really aggressive Work miesters The one thing all of these parts have in common is they are not yet on my car. So I will get photos up as I make progress. When I get a day in the shop a lot seems to happen. Front and rear suspension is completely out and Diff is ready to go in. Side note. Gabrielle at T3 is amazing, and the guys at Sakura are awesome. So on that note...... Who should I use to host my photos to best share them with you guys? (if any one is still following hahahahah)
  2. So mine have arrived (last fall) along with the fronts and ....well basically the rest of the TTT suspension suite. Just finding time to install it all. Stance coilovers are being welded in 2 weekends, and then it should all start coming together. cannot wait to get on the binders . TTT s product -pictures do not do it justice. It is all so beautiful.
  3. So I have been quietly following this for quite some time now. Just wanted to say congrats on this being in the car! So will you be heading to the Dyno after it is running and broken in? Video and details! Amazing
  4. Hey Theatriks! Looks great! What are you using for a harness bar? I am thinking of going with the Autopower/ motorsport scca bar. Just concerned about getting the seat back far enough, and head clearance. I am 6'4" so this will raise some concerns with helmets. Finishing suspension up. but did get driver seat out and the planted brackets line up mint. Teknotik is a dealer in Canada. talk to Eric
  5. I have a 240 and my planted brackets just arrived. Putting Sparco Chrono sports in and I am a little nervous about height if I add the slider in. Really interested in seeing yours all mounted up. Also in Ontario, just past stoney creek.
  6. Ok so I got the template and checked the wheels.- Work Meister CR01 15x10 -53 The corner of the template just ,,,,just touches the barrel of the wheel. Any one got these on this wheel? The car pictured on the website shows work meisters. Ready to order.
  7. Amazing! Thanks for the photos, this is awesome help! Pie cutting the rear nub to hammer it down is a great idea! My Sakura/Stance set up has been sitting in boxes in my garage sine June. I am an ass. working on having it all done.
  8. My god cannot wait to see this come together.
  9. I have a set out of a 2011 GT500... They are huge, and I am not sure if I will be able to put them in the car or not. Might end up selling them. Would these be similar to the 2b >
  10. Well, my wife and I had a baby boy. So car is still in garage with broken rear coil and coil overs are sitting in a box waiting to slam my s30. This has now become my winter project. I plan to order t3 rlca's as.....I plan on destroying the old spindle pins....and why not race car?
  11. No not yet. My budget for Datsun time is limited right now (2 year old and my wife is due with our second in a couple months.) Managed to change my starter and get my mirrors replaced this weekend. Looking to line up time to head up to a friends shop to have the strut tubes welded. Still need the bolts that mount the camber plates to the coilover assembly. Stance forgot to ship them, but Chuck at Sakura has been great and has them coming my way. As soon as I have that I will be making the arrangements to install the set up. And then low and flat through the corners. Photos will be coming on this thread of the install. I promise.
  12. Keep me in mind on the next run. This is an interesting option. Awesome thread
  13. TTT is making a set now as well. I think $950.00 for the fronts. Rotors look very angry.
  14. Yeah just on the coils. The camber plates require some cutting but no welding. The template seems rather good, and should work well for getting the plates straight and perpendicular to the chassis. The 3 strut tower bolts are the reference point, which makes sense. I have been going back to my trunk of my car all day at work to check them out.
  15. And its all arrived! I will post pictures as soon as I get off work and have time to take it all our of the boxes. The one I assemby I have taken out looks amazing. Camber plates look great. I am debating powdercoating the vanity plates, but will wait till I know what direction I am heading with colour. Quality is awesome. Initial impression is very good. Now..... to find time to install.
  16. What an educational, and awesome build. Between the pics and the god like Johnc info, this has been awesome. Any updates?
  17. 1971 - should be fun. Pretty solid chassis in good shape. felling a little guilt cutting the tops for the camber plates, but I am sure sharp handeling and being a hair lower will take the sting away.
  18. I will be trying to get mine in as soon as I have a free couple days. Probably change the wheel bearings at the same time.
  19. And its ordered. I will be posting up pics as soon as they arrive, and will post pictures of the installation. Cannot begin to express how excited I am. Went with 6 k upfront, and 5 k in the rear, with the camber plates.
  20. Hmm neat little set up. But dam... like 1vicissitude said.....how do you adjust after you install
  21. Nice work man! I went to college with Eric from Teknotic. Hilarious and awesome guy!
  22. I am leaning the same way. Lots of guys seem to run a 250-275 front and a lighter spring in the rear, but the balance/ weight dis. on the car seems very good, and I think with the preload adjustment separate of ride height you could change handeling characteristics with out effecting height. (ie create sharper turn in/oversteer with less preload up front and more in the back.... or am I totally drunk on this?) I think I am just going to go 6k square and adjust if i need to as I am tracking the car more......
