  1. I have access to a manifold with dual Weber's off a l26, if interested I can go take a look at it tomorrow and take some pictures. Just let me know. Thanks Daniel in Stockton Ca.
  2. Hey all, I have recently purchased a early 260z , and with it came a 5speed transmission and r200 differential from a '78 280z.I would like to achieve a possi rear end before I do the swap. So please excuse my ignorance , my knowledge of differentials is obsolete. I wouldn't even claim to know anything after reading a bunch of topics about differentials on this forum. So I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks Daniel
  3. I'm sorry but that first one looks like the blinker I had on my huffy as a kid, LOL C is my vote
  4. with the straight signal and brake light can you get shorter straight ones so you could do the 3 sequential turn signal---just throwing it out there, its coming along real nice though
  5. if you're still looking I have a brand new Arizona Z manifold, 9" air cleaner and throttle linkage kit . BNIB. Decided to go a different route. Thanks Daniel in Stockton Ca. 88dangerdan@gmail.com
  6. I've recently rerouted my fuel lines and was hoping I can eliminate the mechanical pump all together. I ran the lines across the fire wall. Right now I have to run the supply side all the way up to the front of the engine and back to the fire wall. Thought I would get some input on how I might be able to go about that. Only reason is to clean up the engine bay area.
  7. are the halos wired with head lights only , or could you hook them up to the running lights so they could be seen with head lights off
  8. the driver side tail light looks good those squares fill up the space better in my opinion
  9. with that setup ( those being your running lights ), could you run round led's to illuminate only when brakes are applied/or turn signal - just offering another suggestion
  10. but thought I'd share how I cleaned up mine
  11. So what I've read the round tops seem to more desirable over the flat tops. but if I decide to get it back in its original state, I would need to get flat tops. thanks again Daniel in Stockton Ca.
  12. Thanks Joe, I'm scratching my head trying to figure out if that helps . but much appreciated.
  13. is it possible to get the blinker lights vertical
  14. now with that color I concur ( A ) looking good
  15. I've recently ( 4 months ago ) purchased a early 260z ( 12/73 ) and it has round top SU CARBS. My question is are these what came with the car when manufactured. reason I'm asking is because I just purchased another 260z ( 6/74 ), not that I needed it but I couldn't pass up on the deal, and it has dual Webbers. So I was wondering which one is correct. Thanks Daniel in Stockton Ca.
  16. IMO second one , doesn't seem to be to overwhelming. but can't wait to see final results
  17. I appreciate the information. I'm going to check the voltage at the electric fuel pump when the car is running to see if is just for priming like you mention. I'm planning on rerouting my fuel lines and hoping I can eliminate the mechanical one. That way I wouldn't have to run the supply all the way up to the front of the car and back to the fire wall. Thanks again Daniel
  18. morning all, I have an early 260z and it has what I believe to be ,2 fuel pumps - am electric one next to fuel tank and mechanical one on the forward rt. side of engine. My question is can I eliminate the mechanical one and if so, what if anything would I have to do differently. Thanks in advance Daniel in Stockton Ca.
  19. so you just need the passenger side, because I know the driver side front corner was smashed. I can go look at this 260z my partner has been letting grab whatever I need off of. I was planning to head out there tomorrow, if it's in good shape I can snap some pics and send it to you
  20. -strike- That really looks good, I thought about going that route, might still if I don't like the way my box turns out
  21. actually down in that corner there's no issues with any of the interior mechanism yeah actually I'm at the beginning of a speaker box to fit in the back by the hatch to house 2 8 inch JBL subs. but I'm starting to think two might be overkill for the size of our cars.
