    Thank you Tony D and Takayuki, the reason I asked was when I go to buy parts I usually go by the 240z over the 280z because of it being an early 260z style. But that is good to know. Thank you both again Daniel

    I too have a early 260z 12/73 production date.I'm wondering why you^^^^would suggest 280z style if they make two different ones. Daniel

    Yes I pulled it out of my 260z about 3 weeks ago. Swapped a 5speed into it. No grinding or pop outs.

    At Manninen.. . I am NOT one of the administrators but I can answer that and it would be no that's not normal the site went down couple days ago and when they got it back up all of the last weeks post had been lost they're trying to retrieve it but they said not likely.your best bet would be to reregister that way you can post your comment again

    Well that's better than yesterday when it popped up for a minute. It was missing the last 4 weeks. So they're making progress. ...lol

    Thanks Tony D, yeah mine didn't have it so I just kept it that way when I installed new tank. I'll end up just cleaning that one up and put it on the shelf.

    I just took these pictures. I don't see any resistor. they're from my '77 280z parts car. But I probably have the other part you're looking for

    the one thing that made me wonder if it was OEM was the hose clamps. they look to be in the same condition as the ones coming off the pump
