I have an early 260z (12/73) and had a (2/74) parts car that this came off of and mine didn't have this. Was this OEM or did someone feel the need to add this on.I'm putting in a new gas tank and was wondering if I should include this when I'm routing my new fuel hoses. Thanks Daniel

I'm located in northern California, I have a long nose R200 that is a 3.9 when I purchased my '77 280z parts car for the A/C system the kid through it in. So I don't know exactly what year it came off of. All I can tell you about it is when you spin input shaft one direction its nice and smooth, when you spin in opposite direction not to smooth. I think they tried to mess with it and realized they didn't know what they were doing. If you are interested let me know Thanks Daniel

Loose the 3/4 ( I mean 1/4 ) Windows, chop the top about 1- 1/2 , some ZG flares and 15 × 10's and you'll have a pretty cool looking mini-hurst. ..lol. ..
