  1. Looks like the paint is splattering out of the gun, you'll need some pressure adjustments to get a good flow. =/ Lots of sanding work ahead of you man. Sorry. Get it knocked down flat and clear it,
  2. Im a little hesitant here saying this.. but take tackle one thing at a time. I know cars are quite overwhelming, but you cant be afraid to work on the car. You will learn so much during the process. Sure youll make mistakes, but all of us have made mistakes. You can boost a N42 with no issues. You will read dozens of threads about "which is better?". Well... depends on your goals. If you are pushing the ragged edge of the L28.. yes cylinder head and blocks make a small difference. But for your goals, you have little to worry about. Trust in yourself, do one thing at a time, do your research and enjoy the journey my friend. Its much easier to first learn how to work on the car and do "add ons" to the L28 rather then swapping in a whole new engine and new wiring harness. Trust me its a pain. I couldnt imagine doing it as a first timer.
  3. I havent left a comment in quite a while, yet I check this site once a week solely to look at this thread. Excellent excellent work ! Very exciting to watch.. continue sharing!!

  7. the video above with water blasting... is $2500 for the blaster. Ill be blunt. Ive blasted my Z at home with soda and nickel slag with a 90 gallon compressor. Ive done seam welding and grinding. I will NEVER do it again. Either rent a compressor and heavy blaster or drop it off at a shop. Trust me.
  8. Just as a fyi... i ordered the kit and have the beautiful kit in the garage. im still working on rust repair and stich welding.. then ill fit the rears

  10. I used the template Dan posted.. fits great. I also went with 1.5" .120 tubing instead of 1.75" x .095 tubing. The shop I gave the plans to were able to do the conversion and I am happy. Cost about $150

  14. What did Washington say about the roof? He is going to produce a mold so he can produce carbon or fibgerglass roof sections? I was going to make my own, but if he would be producing them, I would buy one!
