  1. The time has finally come! Wow looks like its gonna be good... http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/movie/trailers_clips/7807 prob gonna try to see in imax
  2. The hard part is getting a car you dont plan on modifying... I would prob get the NSX and turbo it...
  3. As for the lenses. Bake them in the oven on WARM for about 5-10 minutes... then try prying off the lens. It should pop off no problem.
  4. I have a similar question... Would a 6.4" backspace on 18x10.5 wheels work on the rear?
  5. I know for the front you can do the z31 hubs which add 3/4" on the front. But can anything be done for the rear other than a spacer?
  6. This is also a nice bike... http://www.ducatiusa.com/bikes/superbike/1198/1488/index.do I would say that and the r1 are on the top of my list...
  7. Thats the setup on my car. Works fine. I have never tracked my car though. Yes you are correct putting a r200 in an early body lowered the driver? side is 3/4" too long for proper geometry. I believe this remains for the cv shafts as well though. You have to get it shortened but really... how much difference does it really make being 3/4" too long on one side?
  8. Maybe if an r1 is too much power and like the look try an r6 (600cc). I almost bought a black 06 R6 last year for $1500. Money ended up being dumped in the z.
  9. Heres the precision turbo... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160507868203&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT Heres the t3/t67 HO DBB http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1107 They are VERY close in price... but accually I will probably buy the precision for the ported shroud(the little holes on the intake, allow for the turbo to hit its efficiency range easier) Massive turbo honda guys have been running little engines with big turbos/ported shrouds for ages and made 9 sec cars...
  10. Ahh ive been looking at turbos too here litely... Either the t3/t67 HO Ball bearing or Check out the Precision PT 6776RSP (ported shroud for better efficiency, ball bearing, same size as t3/t67 HO, good for 50 more whp than the t3/t67 HO DBB) Both supposidly the same? No one has gone this big on t3/t4 hybrid turbos on this forum so Im not sure how it would respond to the L series... the precision turbo is good for 750 wheel... they say the t3/t67 is only good for 700 whp...
  11. Hahaha +1 I have 245's all around and steering isnt impossible in parking lots, its just a pain.
  12. Window working perfectly fine and no rust is mainly what im concerned about. Pictures? Maybe possible video of you rolling window up and down...
  13. Im looking for a complete, fully functioning window, rust free 260z drivers door. Im looking on just changing the whole door out with one that has a fully functioning window as mine has never worked properly, have tried EVERYTHING, taken it in to professionals and they suggested a new door as mine is probably warped or something... I do not what the interior panels on the door. Please send pictures if you have what i need.
  14. 3.54! 3.36 gears are extremely rare Only came on 1974 260z 2+2 manual transmission models or 1979 280zx 2+0 4 speed stock manual transmission models The 3.15 shaggy has is so rare its almost non existent. Only a handful floating around that never came stock.
  15. what is it ? 3.54 open? If so i would say $150-$200
  16. Dude wow this song has really hit it big... Haha i didnt think much of it when i saw this post but now it plays on the radio and in stores all the time... Looks like aziza z is the local celebrity now... haha F&F now this..
  17. i think 84 -86 and it doesnt matter if its non turbo or turbo.... should all be the same.
  18. Haha alright i just went ahead and sent them an email... see if they will reply.
  19. Heres a shot from the rear... Looks like a mirror with its base cut off of it so it mounts flush with the door. I wonder what the visibility is in these?
  20. Alright I found more pictures of the car... perhaps it could better aid us?
  21. Iraggi alternators sells a 200 amp alternator for the 280zx... but they are a PAIN to deal with. Contact mechman alternators I have heard good things from them and they could probably make you a good 200 amp alternator no trouble. When I had all the trouble with iraggi, mechman sent me a message saying they wouldnt mind fixing iraggi's mess, but iraggi ended up coming through after 4 months of pain(yes he had my money for 4 months)
