Well alot of you know my car is running now. With it running I've been driving it every once in awhile. What I have noticed is that this car loves to stop at the gas station. I recently reset the odo on a full tank just curiously seeing what my gas mileage would be. So then I drive it around over the next couple of days until the odo reads 31, 93 oct gas was cheap yesterday so i was like why not. I fill up my car and guess how many gallons it takes? 3.7!!! Now if you do the math 31/3.7=8.37. So basically my car is getting 8.4 miles to the gallon. Rofl. Is this normal? I don't believe my car is running rich because when i accelerate hard i don't see any black smoke. I see very very slight black smoke when i start the car but thats about all. Also what I've noticed is when my car only has a gallon or 2 in the tank it sputters on the top end. I dont find the guage very accurate when it gets toward E so this is kinda helpful so I know when to refuel. Kinda weird at first though. When I was low on gas I would always think something wasnt right but really it was just the gas being low. *EDIT* Also wanted to mention i have a 3.36 LSD r200, 630cc injectors, walbro gsl392 and 82 280zx non turbo 5 speed

Kentucky police told me it was ok to go 10 over. I go 10 over all the time and never gotten pulled over. I guess some states are stricter on their driving rules.

Well what the deal is you have to use the quick release to use a SPARCO, MOMO, or NRG steering wheel. Right now im eyeing a black leather sparco steering wheel for my car, but i would have to buy the NRG short hub and NRG quick release.

Will a 280zx spoiler work with a 280z? And then you go on to say you have a spoiler from a camaro? What the.... ... I dont even know. I usually dont like to be that guy that says a topic needs to go to the shed but this thread doesnt make sense at all... But I will say anything can be done with time and money.

Accually the member I'm referring to has brackets to swap z32 front and rear calipers on a s30 already made. He has one of only five sets made on a limited run someone did. Hopefully he will end up producing a run of these. Parking brake? Just park with the car in 1st gear... but yeah parking brake would be nice but is not totally necessary.

Haha i dont think it holds the car back any, but it defenatly gets scary and unstable. Brakes and suspension are next. Im discussing with a member about having a z32 caliper front and rear adapter brackets mass produced, or course me buying a set. I have no idea when this will accually happen but hopefully in the near future, along with the early pop on z31 84-86 turbo 5-lug hub swap so I can use 5lug wheels without an adapter.... This car is far from done, even though alot has been done, there is still alot left to go...

the valve cover is worth like $200, engine $350, carbs $1000, trans $100.. So you should at least try to get like $1600, AT LEAST.

I would go with 250 front, 275 rear...

You can run spring rates like those.. get some stout aftermarket struts with adjustment and get ready for a rough ride if you seem to run over any imperfections in the pavement.

Those are 18's with a big tire. You can run 19's in like a 45 or 35 series... Those are 19's on that 240z.

Its accually a custom color called "nutmeg" but when I tell people its nutmeg they think its brown... But really its a color shifting orange... Appears between red/ gold/ and orange. Its very unique, I have never seen a color like it in the street.

Accually the guy who tuned my car travels all over the world to troubleshoot haltech systems on cars. Hes supposidly the best that could touch my car... They didnt say anything about my distributer, I am running a vg30 300zx wheel and haltech ignition control module though. They however did recommended me getting a tubular exhaust manifold, bigger turbo, and external wastegate though... Haha.
