  1. pretty sure its 84-86 turbo hubs...
  2. Hello guys, Heres what I need... Mine is chipped. Looking for one in perfect shape. Just the cup piece. I need this little rubber piece on the passenger side. Here is a picture of it on the drivers side. Heres a picture of it missing on the passenger side.. Previous owner had a toggle switch installed beside power mirror switch. I am looking for another one free of any holes/toggle switches. Heres a picture of whats currently in the car. I want this piece in very good shape black. I also need a little black plastic pieve that covers the screw on the right side of the top center vent. Here is a picture of it missing on the car. And I am not sure the differences in splashpans But I have a 93 convertible 300zx with a twin turbo vg30dett motor. I need an engine splash pan that mounts below the motor. If you have any of these parts please private message me or email me at zeeyahaha at gmail.com
  3. Haha now thats a MANS turbo! Rofl. Why so big? I would hook the nitrous system to help spool the turbo to get boost quicker. So I take it its still 2.8L or did the overbore it any? I guess they did because they sleeved... Do you know the piston size? Tial wastegate i take is 44mm?
  4. Wow I nailed it as far as hp goes! Hahaha! Very nice, They call dyno dynamics "the heart breaker" so deff probably about 480whp on dyno jet... which is what many people use on the forums. What setup are you running? Built motor? Stock block? Built block? Ported head? ITB's?
  5. Heres another cell phone video I took outside of the car... At :27 you can hear the downspool
  6. Did more research I stand corrected... So i guess low altitude, very very low humidity, High UV rating from sun to heat pavement, temperature in the 60's or 70's... EDIT* Also wanted to add, ive researched that the effects of high altitude on performance is considerably less on a turbocharged engine vs NA...
  7. Haha eminems new album, it sucks if you dont like rap... How did the z catch fire?
  8. Maybe lower altitudes are better for NA and higher are better for turbos... Because dont turbos hit their efficiency range better at a high altitude?
  9. I went to a 240sx forum and posted a want to buy ad... Thats how I got mine..
  10. Yup that too forgot to add that in my post... What ive figured out about DA people say the more DA the better... what plays into DA is altitude, temperature, baramotic pressure, and humidity. To have more DA is mainly dependent on a Higher altitude paired with a very very low humidity and a mild temperature. so like maybe Colorodo, Tucson Arizona, or El Paso Texas (I would say california but does cali have a strip on a place with high elevation? I though cali was mostly low elevation) having optimum conditions most of the year? Or just live elsewhere at high elevation and wait for the optimum day to race? Would track racing be the same? Better performance with a higher DA? Or just with street/strip? Ive always assumed high speed track racing or "topping out" and drag racing it is optimum to have a dry extremely hot pavement I guess characteristics of a desert environment... But as far as what an engine performs optimumly at would probably be a milder temperature...
  11. Curious what you guy's opinions are on this subject... Does Density Altitude play a role? Temperature? Humidity? Also lets assume the track has been properly prepped so lets just focus on weather conditions... Im not sure about DA playing a role but my opinion on temp and humidity is.. -60's-70's degrees F (in my opinion anything colder than say 50 degrees is detrimintal to a cars performance as it uses more energy to keep things that are suppose to stay hot.... hot[like the turbo manifold]) -between 0-50% humidity (less water in the air the better... more air less water better explosion) These are my opinions... let me hear yours.
  12. I have one in Lexington , KY. My old motor that was in my orange car. Motor runs strong, drove from nashville, tn to here in ky and then pulled it.
  13. the newest gymkhana being an example of true antilag? With the ford focus?
  14. Alright I know z32's dont get too much love on this forum but i thought i would try anyways. What would be needed to convert a N/A convertible(has na 4.08 r200) to have a twin turbo 3.69 r230 vlsd? Also some have told me the N/A differential is open, some say vlsd...Which one is it?
  15. Anyone know where I can get one?
  16. all 87-89 300zx's had 5lug hubs. both turbo and non had the same design. They are the later "pentagon" style if im not mistaken. 84-86 NA's had 4 lug hubs designed with the earlier round hub, likewise the 84-86 turbo's had 5 lugs designed with the earlier round hub design. Maybe im wrong but from the research i have done this is what ive come up with
  17. Awhile back we had a group buy for some custom door panels that had 6.5" speaker holes back in like 07. Purchased them back on my old account. I still have them, havent got around to installing them, theyre still collecting dust. They look very good though. Even come with a nice armrest. I believe the member RAVEN produced them. They were something like 360$ for a pair if i remember correctly.
  18. Wrong model FYI. Its the 84-86 300zx turbo 5 lug hubs that work with the s30 5lug swap...
  19. B00STDZ

    WTB/WTT

a different tire can add alot of meat... Just get one thats a couple inches wider than the rim...
  20. Ive posted about this before like a couple years ago... z32 5 speed is an easier swap with same results....
  21. Alright what i need is the metal piece that bolts to the glass on the drivers side. On mine the plastic guide has come loose. Im looking for one in very very good shape! No junk! No rust! and dont need the glass or screws! and of course I want one with the plastic guide securely attached to it! This is going on my orange car...
  22. This car is very fun to drive also very comfortable. Defenately quick. Its so strange driving a convertible thats as fast as it is. Usually convertibles are slower than .... z32's are really starting to rub off on me know haha. But i still want to finish up the 260, its just fustrating at times trying to get parts. So many times Ive tried to order something and it gets back ordered for a long time, just drags the project out... EDIT* Btw this 300zx has 85k on the body, 40k on the motor
  23. Well The story goes a few weeks back I wrecked my dad's z31 300zx na on my way to school. Lady ran a red light and I tboned her... happend so fast didnt have any time to brake. Insurance and the police ruled the accident as her fault. So the search when on to find a replacement. We ran across this "modified" z32 300zx. Yup its convertable. Looks stock? Nope. It has a Jspec twin turbo motor, pop charger, stage III tune, rfl BOV's, 15 psi... 350~ wheel. Boy is this car fun to drive! Breaks traction in 3rd gear when boost kicks in. Pulls hard. Been fustrated litely with the 260z, so this gets my mind off of the backordered clutch some. ACT xtreme clutch for the 260 has been backordered since early july and still havent recieved it...
