  2. Has anyone dealt with ss-autochrome.com? I have placed an order for a single turbo manifold for the RB26 over a month ago and I'm getting the runaround, anyone know of a diferent source for the single manifold? thnx
  3. I searched and so far this is what I have found: -One post says Tomei recommended 15NM, which converted to ft/lbs is about 11, doesn't make sense! -another post says up to 86ft/lbs. -The ARP studs that I purchased from summit part number 202-4207, says "Following the manufacturers recommended torque sequence tighten the nuts in three equal steps to 125 ft/lbs with ARP MOLY ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT. I am using the cometic gasket, and would like to know if anyone has done this lately and remembers the torque specs. Thanks
  4. Anyone know if the RB26 freeze plugs are available anywhere else besides OEM from dealer. Thanks
  5. I am looking for a RB25 transmission, or bellhouse from the RB25 or RB26 trans. Thanks
  6. If the other company has already decided that their insured is not at fault, they may very well take it to mediation to collect and your insurance company will have to step up and fight otherwise they will have to pay. I am just letting you know how the system works, (not in your favor). I used to work for an insurance co. and quit after 2 years because of how things are done and I did not want to be a part of it. Henry
  7. This is a small case. Your adjuster will take the file and send it to an arbitrator with all supporting documentation. Based on past experience (as an adjuster) there might be some comparitive liability on your end to, meaning the arbitrator will assess probably a 70/30 liability, or 100% on the other party. It could go both ways. Let your insurance company handle it. By the way, what does the police report say? Good Luck Henry
  8. Glad it is working out. Thanks Dan & to all the Admins.
  9. My understanding from that specific thread and other reputable RB builders is to go with at least the N1 oil pump, and the return mod to the back of the head to get the oil back in the pan. Don't let her smoke too much. Let us know the outcome. Good luck Henry
  10. Are the results in the new forum? I can't seem to find it. Thanks Henry
  11. You guys are amazing!! It is indeed history like Mikelly said. Henry

  14. Thanks justin, wasn't sure how it was done.
  15. Yahoo search engine, when I bought the Z for the RB swap. Now I log on almost everyday. I wish there was an "encyclopedia" like hybridz back in 85' when I bought my first Z. All the knowledge and the hands on experience is priceless and appreciated. Henry
  16. Stony, make sure no one gets sucked in that turbo.... Looking good! Henry
  17. Buying and developing/selling real estate, also do real estate appraisals. Henry
  18. Did anyone hear him say tires will be done after 15 minutes, but that's ok, cuz the gas tank will be empty in 12. I agree. To call it stock is not fair. I don't think it would cost an extra 800,000 to make a lambo or a ferrari go 250mph. they top out between 200-220mph, not that far off. Just my opinion!
  19. msayar it is!! Now I just gotta finish it and ship it to Kuwait. Henry
  20. I say have fun with it now, and you'll figure it out as you go along.... Don't forget vids. (ha Tgoom) Henry
