  1. I ordered this one: http://www.ssaccessories.com/servlet/the-1780/OBX-LSD-OBX-LSD/Detail Looks like the same supplier as racingpartdepot: http://www.ssaccessories.com/servlet/the-template/about/Page http://www.racingpartdepot.com/servlet/the-template/about/Page So you can use the link I provided and know you will at least receive what I have...who knows if it is right .
  2. Ordered an OBX unit a week ago and received the new curvy version as well.
  3. You definantly want to get the fit close likeZR8ED said or you may get cracking later on. Body work should always be saved for a cool day that you don't mind sitting around doing a lot of work for very little gain .
  4. Yeah, relisted: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220507816201
  5. Damn that sucks man. I wish this whole diff thing was a little easier one solution kind of thing.
  6. I never new you could make a Z so ugly. They have such beautiful lines and I think he killed all but 2.
  7. I have exterior door handles for a 72. PM me if you are interested.
  8. as promised: Front harness from headlight to dashboard: Runs from passenger side to tail lights and all rear wires:
  9. I am currently pulling out all of the interior wiring off my 72. All harnesses are in excellent condition. Will take pics tomorrow.
  10. Sweet, I am out of town this weekend, but I wil be by next weekend.
  11. What are my options for an LSD on this? I know if I get an R200 I can swap the internals for the power brute (are they still selling and questionable quality?) or the Quaife (which is what I am leaning towards, however I have grown attached to my arm and leg which I will have to pay). If I manage to find a 87-88 300zxt (unlikely). What is the deal with the Nismo unit? Anything other then that?
  12. Thanks, I was afraid of it being such a select few. I was trying to find some, but didn't realize it was only the turbo. Guess I will be going with the wolfracing ones to save some headache.
  13. Yeah, I am in philly, and yeah...I looked this thing over before I bought it, there was some minor rust, but all of it should be managable. The car is in Trenton at a friends place with a yard. I am hoping to make an arrangement to help him build a shed if he lets me use it for the build .
  14. I am a new member and just picked up a 71 240z, always loved these cars and now have the money (working on the time) to build one. See below for pics. I have been trying to do my homework before I even start to work on the project and the one main thing that I can't find a straight answer on is cv joints with an R200 rear. I know I want to put a clutch style R200 (preferably the 3.545 rear) on this thing. Now the drive train up until here is set. I picked up an LS1 with a T56 and I will do a custom drive shaft. However, I can't seem to find a straight answer on the CV joints. From what I understand, if I use the R200 with the half shafts, I am going to have geometry issues, similary if I use CV joints from a 300ZX. So what cv joint can I use or piece together that is not going to bind and will be short enough for the R200? Pics: Yes, that paint job is going away too.
