  1. I'm not saying. This Saab has a funny roof made by SCE though ...
  2. Cutting; I dunno. I wasn't there. Probably wasn't too hard. "Weld a piece back on?" Who's welding? I got other plans in store for the roof
  3. I did! You need to update more! By the way, how are you going to align it all to 100%? And yes, the Skyline IRS/cradle bolts right into the S13. Check this out: http://www.are.com.au/Big%20HP/grunter.htm Scroll down to "REAR END" to see pics of the swap. Fortunately the GTS design is (to the best of my knowledge) the same as the GTR. I've heard that the axles are 1 millimeter thinner than the ones on the GTR - but are still able to cope with 900 hp. Unfortunately the GTS come with 4 lug *uggh* and this fine specimen came with a diff. from an automatic. So it'll be changed for a GTS-T or a GTR diff. Or that from a S13/S14. We'll see =)
  4. No, not yet - still trying to find a chassie-man over here : )
  5. It's already though the firewall. You can see it in the third pic. Triangulation isn't 100% finished yet though =) 1) Noted. You think it makes the car into a tank? Too stiff - crash-/impact wise? 2) Those two buggers will support the new rear IRS/cradle. Not so needless : )
  6. At first glance, the R32 GTS cradle/IRS seems alot wider than the 80 mm I've read about (that is, 80 mm compared to the stock 240z). It's not exacly what I'd like to call lightweight but hey, it was free ... And perspective in the picture is a bit misguiding. We'll see what happens.
  7. The latest and greatest from my li'l welder : ) Input? Feedback? Critique? Oh, by the way - it's not 100% finished in the pictures : )
  8. I was thinking I'd put some plexiglass in for a roof later. Panorama roof for teh win! More pics of the cage;
  9. Here we go! New Chrome moly cage almost ready. There'll be no new video dedicated to the process this time though. No re-runs here. Haha : ) Stay tuned to see the new panorama sunroof... ; )
  10. Never mind. I've gotten hold of pretty much all the info I needed... : )
  11. I've been offered a R32 GTS (2L n/a w. automatic) rear suspension setup/cradle. For free. What I need to know is how different the layout/design is compared to the cradle that are installed on the GTS-T and the GT-R. I know the GT-R is a couple (approx. two) centimeters wider than the GTS-T - but other than that? Help! Does the diff. from a GTS-T or a GT-R mount up without modification to the GTS-cradle that I've been offered? Thanks! : ) edit; I've posted this message on Skylines Downunder as well (since I was already a member). If you know people that know Skylines and such, please ask them or repost the message. I have to knoooow! : )
  12. Flare suggestion from my metal handyman Viktor of http://www.darensteel.com They're about 60 mm per side - about 2.5 inches. I'll test fit these and see if I want to go wider or if it'll do. Switching to a Skyline or 240sx/200sx rear end is going to add about 40-50 mm per side.
  13. Video is now on Google-video as well: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8024876117146088705&hl=en
  14. Harr harr ; ) By the way, there's a rumour (if it's not 100% verified I'd say it is one) that my N1-RB26 block was previously owned by the president of the japanese GTR club. Then it moved to Sweden. Yay!
  15. Oh, you mean #17 - the engine build, part 1 ??? Here it is: http://www.voodoo-people.com/~daz/mull/wmv/mull@hugo17.wmv
  16. Here's where the engine build up is at ... Didn't get too great pics of this since I was busy filming it. Hopefully #17 turns up online before or during the weekend! Enjoy : )
  17. 40' date='0 x 2,0 millimeters. I'm Swedish. In Sweden = Thus - no SCCA Rules: http://web.sbf.se/regler/up/4/TR_Regler.pdf

Why not leave your clothes at home ride naked in it as well. And don't forget to go No. 2 before you leave the house (save extra weight)
  19. If you want your dash cap to come off easy, use silicone. Not sure what kind of silicone the guy who mounted my dash cap used, but I kind of just pulled it off. No hassle. Good for me though since it was to be glued properly to the dash. Just a little heads up for those of you using silicone. I'm sure it stays in place and does the job though.
  20. You've probably already answered this before, but how come the fender mirrors aren't "properly" aligned? Haven't noticed before. Are all fender mounted mirrors like that? Maybe they are - and maybe I should just go to bed (5.am) Nice camo!
  21. I want to see more pictures/progress! Keep it up, looks really nice! : ))
  22. Either way - it's still a contradiction : ) Its either Turbo/supercharged or N/A. In this case, the car went from N/A to Turbocharged. End of story. I win. Yay! : )
  23. What the ... is a "n/a turbo" ? : )
