I myself have also had the same exaust problems as eveyone here is mentioning. I am interested and hopeful to hear about your results. Did you fabb the rear diffuser from sheet metal? Even if it doesn't work it will definatley look cool!!

ZR8ED I also LOVE your car!! Might I ask what kind of rear flares those are? I live in Buffalo and also put my car away this weekend. I have a bunch of mods planned including fender flares so if you could spare the time to tell me a little abot your rear flares and spoiler I would greatly appreciate it!! I would like to replace my avatar with a picture of my boys helping me work on their mom's car. When I try to shrink the image to the specified size it is way to pixilated and small. Any tricks to making this work? Any free sites that will host a larger picture to be used as an avatar? Thanks for the help!! Rufus

The face is in the black right under the fuel line. Not on the bumper. It looks like a brow line and nose. Look again.

Thanks for the replys guys. I am very new to the idea of turbo so it is appreciated. I do agree with you Mr. Bastaad (I had to say it that way). In fact my plan is to go EFI. I was just wondering if it was possible with a carb. It comes from something I read, I think it said something like a "pull through" turbo where the gas and air are pulled together thru the carb? Does that sound right? Anyway EFI is going to happen before turbo does. With the exaust that gets pulled into my cab I would like to have a much more efficient burn. I plan on first pulling the motor this winter and checking compression etc.. before I spend the cash on an EFI. Rufus

Hey Guys, I have recently been trying to learn about Turbo / Supercharging. I am currently reading an article about it in this month's Hot Roder Mag. I have also been watching and searching this forum trying to learn what I can. Now I would like to ask opinions on a couple of questions. Where can you find a comprehensive guide for turbo charging a sbc? If you are running a non-efi engine is it worth turbo charging? If some of you guys do run turbo on a carburated sbc, what type of system are you running? Thanks for your time, Rufus

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this but I will post here and hope for the best. I have a complete AC system (I think) minus the compressor in my V8 280. I was wondering if anyone has AC in their hybrid and if there was any problems with wiring etc. Also wondering about what type of compressor to use as well as refrigerant. It seems like who ever had the car before me had it working as there are braided lines running up to the point where the compressor sits. All the components (condensor, lines, evaporator, etc...) look solid but I do not know if there are any leaks in the system. I figure I will worry about that later. I am sure I will need a compressor in place to do a pressure test. Any expierience with this one? Thanks, Rufus EDIT: I have found a bunch of helpful stuff in the archives. The shots of your floorboar are great. Did you do the metal work yourself? MIG or TIG? Looks like MIG.

Time for a different opinion: 1 - bushings - loose sterring causes wrecks. 2 - brakes - I did the conversion and was not as impressed as I thought I would be with the difference. 3 - Coil overs - finish up the suspension before the big project. 4 - LT1 / T56 - Most work and cash. things might happen before you get to this and if you needed to dump your car it wouldn't hurt as much!!!

You mean solid right? Nothing that is "Bolt Up". You could shorten one but there would be a whole bunch of fab work to be done to make it work.
