Some one should buy just the motor and trans so it can be used to make copies of the set up for Hybrid members.

Anybody have a ballpark figure on what it would cost to have someone put a late model LS1 into a rx7. Not counting the price of the car. What is the average price for a used LS1?

I think it should be like it is over here in Italy. They can't drive until 18 and have to go to a driving school. They can have scoters at 16 but nothing over 150cc till there 18. When I was 15 my mom had this boyfriend that would take me out at let me drive his truck. He would tell me to get on it so I could see what a truck would do when you spun the tires. This is probably more important for boys cause your pretty much guarantee there going to try and do stupid things with there friends. I know I sure did. I was pretty much given a car at 16 and turned loose. Needless to say I totaled two cars before I turned 18.

Does anybody know why AUX pictures never work for me? I can usually see everybody else's pictures. Is there something I have to do to see them?

Any info on the Alfa? I see them over here all the time and was thinking of maybe picking one up. I don't really like the look of them that much. I have been trying to figure out what I could do look wise to make it better looking and maybe do a engine swap later down the line. I would really like to find an old alfa gt junior or something similar. There is a couple around here that's pretty nice.

I believe all cars over 25 years are exempt from any kind of conversions to American specs. Terry should be able to by the car and have it shipped over as his own. He might have to give Mike a power of attorney specific to this car so he can pick it up at the port. I am not sure If you can ship a car on any ship you want or do you have to go through a company that specializes in importing cars. This is all just my opinion. A lot of research needs to be done to make sure the car doesn't get stuck in customs.

Their is a guy around here with an early 80's euro 320i with a M series 4cyl built by some racing team. I think he's going to sale it before he goes back to the states. His friend told me he wanted $8000 for it. It has all kind of stereo and video show car crap as well. I am actually thinking of getting it if I can talk him down some.

I would stay away from the 5 series. I have a 91 520i it overheated on me and I had to have the heads shaved and a bunch of other stuff. My mechanic was telling me that he had a 5 series before and that If they get passed the half way mark you should shut them down emideatley. Their heads can warp or crack real easy. Once they overheat real bad the cars never the same. My vote is for a nissan.

I agree with here comes trouble. Get a restraining order on them to protect yourself. There nothing wrong with trying to be a nice guy but you shouldn't screw yourself in the process. Then she might violate it and have to come up with money she doesn't have to fight it and it may make here back of some on you. Plus If she violates it and your case is dismissed maybe you can sue her for legal cost. After the lawyer takes majority of that money you can use what left to but another Z. I think being the bigger person his great but you have to keep in mind that she is not just trying to hurt you but hurt your family. I don't know your whole situation but If you have to got to jail it's going to make it harder on the people you love and for me that's were being nice ends and you have to do whatever it takes legally to protect your family and your way of life. Sorry for rambling I hope everything works out. I am not a lawyer so talk to someone who actually knows the law. Just my two cents

I say get the Lotus. If it is a car that you have always dreamed of then if you don't get it. You will kick your self forever for not getting. Plus If you waited six years to get the Z rolling what's another year. Then once you get the z done you can start the first GN powered Lotus project.

Wheelman, I am sure your sun will do great. Do they still let the parents come down the last week to see them graduate ? Did they do that when you were in? If so I would highly suggest it. The time of graduation your son will probably be in the best shape of his life and have a strong military bearing that will disappear shortly after going to tec school. Congratulations.

What type of awd system do they have? Did they use a G.M. 4wd sytem and just beef it up some.Or did they get one from somewere else?
