I'm pretty obsessed with my Z. When I got married I told my wife, "don't ask me to get rid of my Z and we won't have any problems." She hasn't and we've been married for 11 years and I've had my Z for 20 years. Yeah, I'm pretty loyal. BTW-When I see a car in a driveway with a cover on it I try to guess what it is by the curves.

Just moved to the NE side of San Antonio.

I had the same thing happen to me after I took the car out of storage. Turned out it was the fuse holders. I sanded all of the fuse holders in the fuse box and all the lights started working except the front side markers because the bulbs were rusted in.

Gotta go with the Ferrari Daytona since someone already posted the 288GTO. Yeah just call me Tubbs!

Anyone know how to check a jy tranny to make sure it won't throw up its guts? I found one for sale in Houston on craigslist but want to make sure it isn't junk. Also are these adapter kits still available? I don't see it on their website.

Does anyone on this board have access to photoshop? I am thinking about adding a carbon fiber hood and hatch but want to see how it would look on my car before I drop a load on them. If anyone can help I'll send a pic of the car to be photoshopped. thanks

Hmmm...I guess whats unique about my Z is my relationship with it. It was the first car I bought when I was 16 and have owned it for 20 years straight. I've gotten a lot of offers to buy it and the answer is always the same... $1,000,000. No offers yet so I guess I'll keep her

Since I finally got the car out of storage I'll post a pic: They're 17x7 and actually provide better clearance than the 15" I had on the car.

Davy, Glad to be back. Thanks for the suggestion. I set it up on hybridz already. CF, Thanks. Even after 17 years of owning this car it's still a work in progress. It's always been "no money plenty of time" ot "no time and plenty of money." One of these days I'll have plenty of both.

It has been years since I posted on this site. I haven't been active with my Z since my son was born 4 years ago. Now I am getting that ol' itch again for my beloved Z. Thank God I didn't sell her. I put her in storage and she's been doing nothing more than collecting dust. BTW- I've been looking at a lot of the member's photos and all I can say is wow. You guys have some awesome rides! Back in my day (ouch) Skyline swaps were pretty rare and Scottie's GNZ was tearing up the track. Man how things have changed!
