  1. You're not pissing anyone off, at least you're trying. That car looks like a good deal, lots of parts, and work already done. But you said you had $3200, and you still have to have it shipped up, that leaves no money left over. If I were you I'd save atleast another $3000 to get you started
  2. Welcome Diamond! Your car sounds like fun, do upload some pics!
  3. In 94, I bought a 93 SL2 saturn it had 17K and I drove it to 100K. Sold it to a freind who drove it to 200K, then sold it again. The only thing I noticed is that it burned a 1/2 to 1 quart of oil between changes. Very reliable car for me.

  5. Every engine builder seems to have a different brake-in procedure. Some say don't worry about it, some have a procedure to follow. I would contact the builder of your crate engine and ask them.
  6. The T5 slave has a bleed screw, the T56 slave does not.

Looking good so far! Not sure I like the third brake light on the roof.
  9. Does the Gearbox have a tech line?
  10. Sounds like you got everything covered. Is your car a 240 or 280? With my 240 I had to cut the floors a little to fit the JTR crossmember. I used a gear reduction starter from Summit. Your Tilton should bolt up.
  11. The 93 model was rated at 400tq, all other GM models after 93 were rated at 450tq
  12. The engine was dynoed at 435 at the crank. Mostly street, a little drag
  13. Not hard to fit in at all. You may have to hammer in the passenger side tunnel at the firewall a little. The shifter comes out the stock hole. This is with a Gen I engine with a JTR kit.
  14. Do what John said, get rid of it! It will not last behind a V8 even if it is a WC, it's a 6 cyl tranny
  15. Sounds like everything went well, and less pain to boot! Good news! Hope it all goes smooth for you.
  16. Check out Silicone Boy's pics, maybe they can help. It may work, his is a 383, but his turbos are close to the same as your pic.: http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=4970&cat=500&ppuser=7915&sl=s
  17. Are you sure the injectors are firing? Even if you have fuel in the rail, and fuel pressure, if your injectors are not getting a signal, they will not fire.
  18. Also so sorry to hear about this Pete, hope the surgery helps!
  19. Here, this will help! : http://www.oldengine.org/unfaq/solenoid.htm
  20. Black with lime green stripes....mmmm...I like it!
  21. Same thing, you already got one. Like Pop n Wood said, check your connections, make sure you have good grounds from block to body, back to battery
  22. What kind of starter do you have? A gear drive starter should solve your problem.
