Blech Warren that is the most Aweful thing i have ever seen, If this were keepitstock.com i would be outraged.. But it isn't I've told you once i will tell you again those light look good.. i can tell a bunch of hard work and time went into that, and it shows beautifully.. talk to you later, Mr. Warren -
ANy one know how much the atom over here will cost because that is the coolest car like ever..

OK i am mostly looking for a starion unit installed pictures but would also love to see everyone elses Intercooler pictures.. I have the starion unit and cant quite figure out how to plumb it in.. But like i said above Bring on the Intercoolers ohh and dont forget the specs on it like pipe diameter and intercooler dimensions.. THank you.. Ohh i dont know if this is considered technical sorry moderators if it isnt.

i recently purchased one and was wondering if any one had pictures of it installed, i am searching but would like any more help if some one could post some here or point me in the right direction thank you..

Acctually no she isnt but she revs up fine when she does, now she is spuddering and dying on me, but only when i have the lights on.. I think the altenator has something to do with it.. I went to check it and all of my connections were loose like all the screws and bolts (there is only 2) and i am wondering if it could fry an altenator if it isnt connected well enough? well some day she will run..
-
well i did but i didnt use the good ole' toothbrush and i also clean up some wiring and gave the grounds better contact points, and i hadnt cleaned the ECU pins.. but like i said man i love boosting, Now i get to concentrate on getting the IC in there!!!
-
OK, i am sorry i doubted every one i always thought people had weird problems when all they had to do was clean connections i did that and she was running sorda, i had to go back and re do some wiring of grounds and stuff and just clean up some previous shall we say, umm, half-assed endevours (spelling?).. I was kicking myself because i am building a car for performance but i didnt do all the wiring nice and neat.. well thanks to every one for telling me to clean connections..
-
All Right i will hopefully be able to do that this evening.. ohh and i just got myself an IC so now i have to plan how to route my piping.. have a nice night and i will report back if the cleaning works

OK i am very sorry if this has been covered i have been searching but with Dial-iup it can be frustrating. If it has just tell me and i will keep looking.. I have a 280zx turbo engine stock for with a 60mm tb and a ported intake, half of an exhaust and my wiring is still a little screwed up (but i dont think that is the problem here) I was having this problem a few weeks ago where my car was cutting out randomly and i disconnected the battery and it seemed to fix it.. She ran great for about a week this is all the things i did when i disconnected the battery. Replaced Cap and Rotor Replaced Spark Plugs with new NGK's I have also cleaned quite a few connections and used di-electric grease and them.. So my problem in case i didnt make it clear is my car is hesitating at about 2800 rpm to 3000 rpm and it doesnt even like to go above those RPM's.. I thought maybe it was a timing problem so i have been adjusting the timing slowly with the Distributor but to no avail.. I went out the other day and adjusted on it for over an hour b;ut could never get boost to run right it would just sputter around and never kick in.. I am going to try to gap the spark plugs a little closer to see if that helps but i am at my wits end.. and like i said it ran great when i put the new spark plugs in it.. should i replace my wires

OK i finished my turbo swap and had everything running smoothely then she decided to get strange on me. I hooked up the stock tach after a few days of running with out it.. then after a few day with the tach i ran a hot wire from my starter to under my dash because my car would start with the key, but that is a different story.. Here is my problem it is usually under acceleration my car will completely die, by that i mean my tach dies and my engine just shuts off it has never been for more than a few seconds.. My thought is that it is an electrical problem, the coil seems to be down tight but i am just using screws to hold it down (i had to relocate it) so maybe it isnt, any help would be greatly appreciated i tryed to think of anything that i could have done that would cause the problem and will answer any more you have.. Thank you for the help..

I found out that wiring in a new relay didnt work still the wire running to the cylonoid is only getting 5.5 volts, could that mean that my ignition switch is bad?? if so i have another ig. switch and it only ran 5.5 volts too, what could be the problem? thank you
-
Hey i just fund a relay in my garage that was in great condition so i might try to wire her up today i will let you guys know whether it works.. Thank you for all the help so far..
-
OK that sounds like a good idea, but where can i get a relay, and is there a certain kind i need because i dont know very much about relays.. thank you guys for the help.

OK i got my turbo swap done the other day, i am still waiting on an exhaust.. but that isnt my problem.. When i was wiring up my car i tried to start it and it didnt start, but in the middle of cranking it just stopped.. i can jump it accross the cylonoid and she starts right up.. I am pretty sure it isnt the ignition switch because i have tried 2 other ones and none of them worked.. i have a 1975 280z with an 82 (i am pretty sure) 280zx engine and 280zx starter.. Thank you for the help.. The thing i think is the weirdest is that is just stopped working.. Thanks
-

A quick FI and ignition 280zxt to S30 turbo swap guide
75280z replied to bumble zee's topic in Turbo/Supercharger
Ok this is a great guide to use to swap the turbo engine out and to the other one, is it posible for this to be a sticky so other people can benfit from the hard work pu into making this? thank you so much man helped a ton hopefully i will get my car running today or tomorrow. -
Yeah i realize that the ECU controls it for the purpose of priming the fuel pump and then shutting off, but my car isnt woring that way. So i was wondering for ease of use i could just run it with a toggle switch. and i think you answered my question thank you
-
Hey guys i got a quick question, if i am swapping a Turbo into my car and i want to run a kill switch to my fuel pump, do i need to run the Fuel Pump to my harness or can i just hook it up to a 12 volt constant and just run the switch by itself with out tying it into the system, thank you for the help..
