  4. They wont be much of inprovement if not any maybe a set of GT40P heads off a exploer they are the same 1's used on the cobra

  7. bOSS 302 IS ACTUALLY A 4 BOLT MAIN 302 WITH CLEAVLAND HEADS. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR OWN BOSS YOU NEED TO DO SOME HEAD MODIFICATIONS BUT IT IS NOT HARD, I BUILT ONE FOR A FRIEND AND WORKDED OUT REALLY GOOD. Ok I love 240z's and would not get anything else but........ my friend is looking for a new car he selling his 1998 civic hatch and 1992 mitsu GSX both cars are hooked up but he wants to what is the best road race car for the money. should he keep the gsx or get a miata what do you guys recomend.
  12. Do you think I could get away just sanding them I just the motor for 1 year of daily driving till I could afford the sr20det swap

  14. Ok I have a brand new cam and spring kit, can I use the old rocker arms the motor has 50,000 original miles. The rocker arms have no rust and look good enough to reuse any suggestions?

  18. I had that same turbo on my Mustang it was working great for about 2 months after it fell apart maybe about 1000 miles is what it lasted

  20. Thanks guys. I have some pics of a notched cylender block im going to give it a shot hopefully I dont ruin the block. Ohh I almost forgot I have the hole cam kit springs retainers and all that good stuff.
  21. Ok im confused! I just got a n47 maxima head for my L24, I was told I need to notch the cylender so the valves don't hit. Correct me if im wrong the N47 maxima is a 2.4 and my 1971 240z is a 2.4 same I bore I would think. I would thinks it would clear the cylenders. Im using a schieder cam part#17034 107 lobe center 460 lift 280 exhoust duration 232 intake duration. The head has the stock valves.

  24. Ok I was looking and I could not find how to notch the cylender do I really need to notch the cylender walls if I keep the stock valves on that head
