  2. I ran that holset on my car for awhile and 3" is plenty. Remember when you buy your holset get the v-band clamp and 45 elbow with it. Good luck
  3. Don't need anything but thanks for the generosity.
  4. Lets see: 91' sentra = Sleeper (sleeper) 86' mrs = Misty (mister two/misty) 90' Mustang = Stangy (....) 92' Jetta = Helga (german bitch i knew) 00' miata = Little Red Riding Hood (it was little, red, and it had a hood) 280zxt = Ghetto Beast (it was ghetto) 260z turbo = Whistler (it whistled) 05' Gto = BFG (Big F'ing Goat 3700lbs)
  5. Is this carbed? If so then 2-3 psi is good. But if its efi it should be 25 minium up to 35psi after the car is shut off and then only loose 1 psi per minute or something like that. Not sure exactly of the leak specs but your manual should have it.
  6. Glad you found what was causing the no start condition. I would also be worried about the dropping fuel pressure. It should hold pressure for atleast a half a hour if not longer after you turn off the car if your injectors and fuel pressure regulator is in good condition.
  7. Sounds like you have a leaking injector, stuck open injector, or bad regulator. Verify that you get a click out of all 6 injectors while starting. Then take off the fuel rail and do a leak test should help point you in the right direction.
  8. Wow yeah good thing she didn't try to get back on the track going sideways. Sweet datalogger indeed. I wonder what the bullzeye measurement is. One ring equals 1g? or .5g? With those tires probably 1g.
  9. Actually it sounded quite deep and good with my 280zx. I posted a different video earlier in this thread with a dyno run of my ghetto beast "junkyard 280zx"
  10. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=WLK%2D24222&N=700+4294923429+4294922711+400358+115&autoview=sku They not really mufflers more like resonators. But they have sounded good on all the vehicles I have tried them on. FYI they are loud if stock is an 1 and open exhaust is a 10 so these would be 8.5-9.0 and borlas/flowmaster would be a 7. They last long and i've never had a problem with them falling apart or rusting.
  11. I believe it was a 2.5" because that would have been my downpipe size but not 100% sure.
  12. Yep sure do. This is a l28et with stock downpipe then about 2 feet of pipe then the bullet muffler. Nothing else. The bullet is deeper and slightly quieter than open and a fair amount louder than borla's.
  13. Thanks Warren. Nah not as crazy as I once was, but thats a good thing. Just fyi that was in an abandoned grocery store's parking lot. The car has the mods listed in my signature. This is the third car i've run dynomax bullet mufflers and every car sounds good with it. I've run a 4cyl, my 280zxt, and now my gto. For $40 a pop me likey.
  14. Happy B. Day Warren. Make sure you get some quality time doing your favorite thing today ...
  15. :burnout:It was time to get new tires so I HAD to help dispose of the old ones. The stock ones are 245/45r17's and I put 275/40's. They barely fit but don't rub. Sorry about the poor quality but I was trying to keep the size down and had the camera on low resolution. Next vid will be with high res.
  16. What was your mph? It sounds like to me you are dumping the clutch. I found with the l28et you need to slip it so that you can get he boost up right away but not break the tires loose. One way to think about it is you are doing 30mph in second and punch it you will spin the tires all the way through second even modulating the pedal. But if you go from 15mph you won't spin in second because you slowly got the power on and the car accelerating. I dropped my 60's from 2.2-2.3 to 2.0-1.9 in my ghetto beast when I learned to slip the clutch. Good luck
  17. Yes it is a very sound car. So far my only problems have been warped brakes (bought like that), and clutch pedal gets soft after a fair amount of spirited driving. I've read the latter can be fixed by bleeding the system. I just did a few bolt on's and quick tune and its got 360hp and 360lb-tq. Sure its moving 3600lbs but its still fun. How is the 240sx running? The fans still sound like a couple of air planes taxing around?
  18. Nice looking their gabe. Can't wait untill pics on the car. If you haven't done so yet I would take off the turbo and port the exhaust housing to match the turbo gasket. Should help with spool a couple hundred rpms.
  19. For this mildly modified vehicle i've heard 13:1 is best.
  20. Here is the dyno itself. Red is first run green is second run no cool down. I just wanted to see the afrs. This is on a dynopak. On the dynojet I had 360hp and 360tq.
  21. Well I went and did another dyno at another shop with a wideband and here is what they were. Way too much fuel probably losing atleast 10hp.
