  1. I'm a little disheartened. Turns out I already warped the solid rotors again. Sigh.. will these S12 calipers work with any vented rotors? Phyte
  2. That 1/16th photo is a thumbnail. Also in the tools area it shows that thumbnail of the image you are trying to resize. A lot of times when people resize images that are very large. I show the thumbnail of the image so you can see the whole tool and know what image you are working with. Once you resize the image and submit, it shows you what the file will look like if you save it. Phyte
  3. As ON3GO tested, yes you can.. I'm not doing that BS that other image hosts pull. Phyte
  4. I see that thank you! So far this is two weeks worth of work. I've got TONS of features I'm adding including more image tools like watermarks, borders, etc. I'm just trying to get people signed up to help me beta test the site. Beautiful car as always ON3GO Phyte
  5. Hey guys. I wrote a website that gives you free photo hosting with lots of image tools. You can have upto 25 albums with 100 photos each! Please help me test this site by signing up and creating albums of your Z cars, or whatever photo's you want! http://www.resizeme.com Thanks Phyte
  6. Ok those things make a big difference I've bleed the front and rear 3 times and the pedal still is a little too squishy. The brakes don't come on until the pedal is almost half way down. I would like the brakes to start coming on much sooner. Once they do come on it brakes very strong from 80mph down. Is there a way to adjust the MC so the brakes come on earlier in the pedal travel? Also it pulls _slightly_ to the left under hard braking. Whats the best way to get rid of the slight pull? Phyte
  7. Ross, Its a lot worse then just pads. The front left caliper is sticking and will lock the wheel up real easy, and its leaking Also the rotors need turned bad. This is not only an upgrade, but a fix. I may just bite the bullet and get some tires and honda adaptors(from you). The wife may beat me though Phyte
  8. I've read that some 14" wheels fit, and some don't. I've got 17's in the garage, but still need tires and adaptors. These are the wheels I have: I'll be putting on the 17's next month, but need to drive it until then. I'd hate to get all the way into the brake job and find out my wheels won't fit. I don't want to grind the calipers down either. Phyte
  9. I got a ride in it a month or two ago. It was fun to say the least Phyte
  10. Guys, I never tested it on a PC until tonight and noticed a lot of broken images, and misalignments. Its all fixed now! If you'd like to help me beta test the site please create some albums and upload some photos. I appreciate any and all feedback!! Thanks Phyte
  11. 2.5lb's of salmon, button, fresh garlic, and Dill. Smoke for 1 hour on grill. Heaven.. Phyte
  12. Hey thanks. Not everything works on the site yet, so you can beta test it with me Thanks for signing up. Phyte
  13. http://www.resizeme.com/staging/ Look under albums, then "My 260z" by Phyte. I can't wait to get those wheels on. Happy New Year. Be Safe! Phyte
  14. Around $2000. You should be able to get an L28et for around 3-500. With the rest of your money you should buy a spearco intercooler(~300), boost controller, a fuel pump, and some sort of engine management system. Boost the stock turbo upto 12psi and tune it. You won't be at 300rwhp, but you should be at around 230-250. That will get you a very good base for more power. Once you have a little more money and your confortable with more power just bolt on a T03/04 hybrid turbo and you'll be able to push 300+. Good luck. Phyte
  15. Yes all of the work will be done by myself and my pops. He owns a shop up in KS where he's been building custom hot rods for years. He's got a lift, clean room, paint room, everything. We will be doing everything on the engine including the head work. The only thing we won't be able to do is any block machining. I think 400hp is a little over kill now that I think about it. 320-350 at the rear wheels with ~400lbs/tq will be fast enough for me. I just want to be able to take a Z06 Phyte
  16. Wow, with the insane amount of torque these motors put out I won't need 400rwhp. Maybe somewhere around 350 with 400+ torque. Besides we all know its torque that wins races not HP So good fuel management, injectors, good IC, port/polished head, forged pistons, T03/04 turbo should make me happy when I mash the skinny pedal. I've built countless SBC's, but this is my first turbo motor. This is going to be fun. Phyte
  17. I've searched, but I must not be looking in the right places. Is it easy to get an L28et to 400rwhp easily and reliably? Like a T03/04 at 20psi? I was going to go with an LT1, but I really would like a turbo car this time around. I plan on a complete rebuild of the engine with new parts. Would an L28et with ported/polished P90 and a T03/04 turbo be capable of supplying 400rwhp in my early 260z? Pump gas, or race gas? I've got about 4k to spend on an engine, so I think I should be able to accomplish this with no problem. Phyte
  18. I helped a "non handy" buddy of mine replace it. It was his. I assume he got the element from just a local spa/pool store. I'd give them a call. Phyte
  19. I once replaced the heating element on one. Its just a coil piece of metal, and I don't understand how one could go "bad", but it did. Replaced it and it fixed it. Phyte
