  1. American racing wheels, kuhmo supra 712's. I definitely need to lower it an inch. I'm so happy with this wheel tire combination. It drives so smooth and quiet! Enjoy! Phyte
  2. Found this site today. Its got some REALLY funny flash animations of stick people, check it out. http://www.stickdeath.com Phyte
  3. I'm interested in this information also. I just picked up an 83 turbo motor. Currently my 260z has an L28 from a 78 280. Should I use the intake off the L28? Or look for an even earlier L24 intake? I'd like to have it has clean as possible. Phyte
  4. Thats not right. Not right at all
  5. I'm fairly new to the site. What happened? Phyte
  6. Some of you might remember my score on ebay a couple weeks ago of a complete and I do mean complete L28et on ebay. He bought the car from a kid that told him it had turbo problems and he couldn't afford to fix it. Well he bought the 83zxt and ripped the motor out with plans to put it in his 82 N/A. He never did that and decided to sale it on ebay thinking it needed a turbo. Well I got the motor and whelp its not a turbo problem. Its just a head gasket Motor and turbo is rock solid and came with EVERYTHING I need for the swap. He even gave me the old exhaust Its at my pops shop now and won't be in Austin until April for the rebuild, but I was glad to see that the motor only needs a head gasket to run. I'm going to go ahead and put new bearings and rings in it to stay safe. So complete turbo motor, 5 speed tranny, everything for $200.. I'm so happy Phyte
  7. Ok I'm outta here! I'll see you guys in 1.5 weeks, I'll have pics! Phyte
  8. 3 hours and the wifey and I are off to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Caymans Cya suckas!!! hahahahaa... Phyte
  9. Well the engine is going to be stuck in KS until April. Thats the earliest my Dad can bring it down. I'll tear it down before I start ordering parts just to make sure and get the right goods. The engine only had 107K on it, so hopefully everything internally is in order. As for the turbo rebuild, I've seen rebuilt T03/04's on Ebay for $300. Instead of spending half that on a rebuild, I think I'll just upgrade. I'll need an IC and fuel to support that turbo also. I might as well do it while I'm at it right Phyte
  10. Does anyone sell a complete rebuild kit for an 83 turbo motor? Rings, bearings, gaskets, etc? Also where would I go about finding a T3 turbo rebuild kit? Thanks Phyte
  11. Ya I changed my mind. I've never had a turbo motor, and I thought now would be a good time to start. Specially after this deal! I think I'll start out by rebuilding this motor with the stock turbo, and just upping the boost. Get the motor in and everything working, then mod it after learning to drive it properly. I still got interior and paint to do so this will help that process out tremendously! Phyte
  12. Deal keeps getting better! I told him I'd give him an even $200 if he threw in the 5 speed, shifter and drive shaft he's got and he said yes! No more auto tranny for me! He just wants to get the stuff outta his garage so he can start parking his grand national in.. fun stuff. Phyte
  13. Just won a complete L28et off ebay for $153!!!! Only thing wrong is the turbo.. It went so low because it was pickup only in the Kansas City area. The turbo is the only thing thats wrong with the motor, which doesn't matter because its getting a T03/04 man I'm pumped! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2456849009 Phyte
  14. What are the advantages of a 79ecu over a stock 81 ecu? Phyte
