    What I would do is make a template out of thick cardboard and test fit that until you are happy with the shape. Then I would go pick up some sheet metal or aluminum and trace the template on that, then cut it out and use that instead of wood.

    Hopefully in two weeks Ill have a good update, I will be on spring break from school, Ill have gotten my tax return by then, have gotten the garage semi-renovated and got my girlfriend's B13 Se-R out of the shop. So please stay tuned!

    Hey guys I know its been a while, winter has had me hiding away and I haven't been able to get any work done on the car for a while. This past Saturday I pulled the motor out of my 81' turbo car and I pulled the megasquirt from it as well, it's progress. Hopefully I can have more pics up soon.

    My car has them, it is an 81 turbo and yes it is an automatic, they are for the oil cooler that only automatics came with

    Does anybody know what parts store I can order the metal clutch line that goes from the master to the slave cylinder? Or does anyone know what size fittings are on each side?

    This thread can be closed. I went to the junkyard today and got everything I needed and while I was there I met a gentlemen that gave me a free 81' 280zx 5spd trans that was recently rebuilt.

    are the drive shafts between the 78 and 81 different lengths when they are manual?

    As the title says my auto tranny just kicked the bucket and I need to replace it asap. I have my 78 5spd and driveshaft, my question is will it fit into the 81' or what do i need? Sorry I am sure that this has been covered, but I searched and I wasnt sure what kind of combo to type in the bar to get my results, so any help is great....thanks very much!

    most of the users here with megasquirt and stim boards keep them in case they need them again, try ebay or diyautotune.com

    Roggaman that is beautiful, I thought I would be one of the only ones running the 280zx intake that slopes to the back...from what I have heard they flow the best of any of the z manifolds
