Drive the car with the megasquirt...Dont just listen to it idle and rev and think everything is fine...I bought my 280zxt that way....Half way to my house the plugs started fouling out because the guy I bought it from did not tune the car enough, so after about 25 mins of driving under load the plugs were shot....So do yourself a favor go for a good drive in it before purchasing... -

Man I wish I was finished with all of my bodywork....Im buying soda blast tomorrow so that should speed things up a bit. -

Hey guys my car is a bone stock 81 280zx turbo. No upgrades minus the crane cams coil that came with the car... my car is currently using map based acceleration instead of the tps, as my tps is putting out one crazy signal... Let me know if you guys need bigger pics

When you mentioned adhesive remover, I think goo-gone. I actually think goo-gone might actually work I have used it a bunch on many different things...Just test in an inconspicuous area

I have been tossing around the idea of painting my car gloss white and now im hooked, I love it. I think it will be a great choice in the 95 degree plus weather here in georgia.

I love the shaved rears on the 280zx's. I think the stock look of them is just too bulky....I wish I was going to keep my zx and it wasnt just a donor car, then I would definitly try this.

I have been tossing this idea around as well. Now seeing the pics I dont see why someone wouldnt try it, if your dash is already cracked your not getting it any worse. Then if you still dont like it buy a full cover or a new dash.....I think its worth a try.

Reading the post at first I thought I would hate the color, now after seeing it on the Z I think I like it on the Z's better then the Chargers!

Is this a bad problem with 280s as well? It just seems like its mostly 240 and 260 guys that have posted issues, not trying to be a jerk just trying to find out what I need to buy after I finish painting my Z

sorry about the long wait on the pics.... and when i bought the remanufactured distributor it did not come with the pigtail that plugs into it, to connect to the engine harness so you would have to find one from someone else or use yours

i have one, i bought it remanufactured and never used it, the collar has been motified to fit on the older style oil drive as in the ones from the 280z l28e....see the pics below....i spent $360 on eveything brand new but ill take $250 for it plus shipping....

one of the best and cheapest tig welders ive seen is the miller tig matic its not too expensive and a great starter tig welding machine
