How much would I love to have that car! I love the back end of those model 180sx's. And adding the seXeh 240z front. Need I say more. As for engine, yea. I'd probably change it.

your sayinf 3200 for the pistons etc. how much for the motor? cause i can' get a rb26det for 5,500 (about 3 grand your cash) with the gearbox.

I'm wondering, was that ad he posted a picture? If it is, and you havn't formatted/deleted your temporary internet files the ad should still be in there. Other than that, unless you have it written down somewhere dated and signed saying there 16" 's its pretty much your word against his.

bastaad, I would have to agree with you. That situation where the person pulled back infront of you, I had the same thing happen to me when I was doing the legal speed limit, but what this person did to me was worse. Just him and I on the road, this person was in a large van. Just got the car fixed and resprayed. This was a 2 lane highway and I pulled into the right hand lane to overtake (remember the roads are switched in aus) and when I was right beside them, the van just came across into my lane. WHEN THERE WAS NO NEED TO. No turn off's, no round-a-bouts, no lights, NOTHING. I'm doing 100kph (60mph, not much speed I know.), and this van pushed me so half of the car was on the grass and the other half was on the road, and god damn. Sliding @ 60mph isn't fun, but I still held it stright. Well the point to my story is mainly to back up bastaards point in saying that yes, its could be the guy in the vette's fault. But you can't count out the fact that the person he crashed into could have been and idiot and did something stupid themselves and happened to do it right when the vette was coming.

It seems to be there thing in aus where people think that their 1980's model magna is the king. Driving home from the city @ 3am I kept getting people in old magna's etc, tryin to burn me off at lights and try to go harder around a corner than what that car can handle. I just let them go and think, well arn't you a big man, your crappy car just managed to handle that corner although those few little k's more u would have been a sardine inside a can.

Eeeek, the US has some screwy rules. I don't have to worry that much about tinting. All I have to watch for is, How dark it is and is it on the front window. If its on the front window or too dark then they get up ya.

Ohh man, if they are the original 260z carbies I feel your pain. As drax said to me, there the same as boat anchors. I'm looking at getting rid of mine quick smart. The sad part is, if they are the original 260z carbs, there is no easy way to tune them.

blue has my vote! The green is ok aswell, but I havn't really seen that sort of blue before. And I reckon it would look awsome on your z

I'm not to impressed with the performance that my l26, with a tighe cam, high compression pistons, tuned length extractors. I didn't do these mods, the fella who owned it before me did. But i'm thinkin that the stock imitation su carbies (with all that emission control crap on it etc) are holding the engine back. Cause I can't tune the thing. But i'm sticking with my L26. I was reading in a Import magazine, that a L28 Turbo in a 240z was pulling 10's down a quater. Without NOS.

hahaha nice! Those tests are funny. Cause I remember a College, we had to do a test like that (to pay attention and read everything before u answer). We had all these people yelling and dancing around the room. Cause the last question says, Don't do any of the above and write ya name in the top left hand corner. I had a great laugh that day.
