Well today I went autocrossing with my friend in his Miata and we got 3rd place. He also has a '03 RSX Type-S and a Z32 300zx. After today I know for sure that I am going to autocross the Z. Also my Grant steering wheel and my Autometer boost gauge came in today. I put the steering wheel in and boy does it look good. I don't know where I'm going to mount the boost gauge yet but we'll see when I get it running. Yea he is and the funny thing was I had only met the guy like 3 days earlier. It's a complete long block with uncut harness and ecu the only thing it doesn't have is a trans. This guy had a Mazda pick up with a 1jz in it, an all original RX2 four door, a 2 door 510 with a bridgeported 13b, and a bunch of other cars. Anyways my harnesses came in yesterday. I laid out my harness and the new harness and that's when I find out that the 75 harness is different from the 76 harness. So what I'm going to do is just fix the parts of my harness that got burnt up with the new harness. I'm going to go up to my dad's shop and get the tools needed. I'll make sure that I take pics. Also I'm still waiting on my ignition. I bought it on a Thursday and the guy didn't ship it until the next Tuesday. Oh well it's on it's way. I have a list of things to do before I take it for it's first drive. I will put some pics up later on today or tomorrow.

Well I bought a harness because my old one shorted out and got all burnt up. So I payed 48 bucks for it shipped to my door. I also purchased an Ignition lock w/ a key because the PO can't find the keys. I got that for 31 bucks shipped. Also a family friend is giving me a free 2jz long block with no tranny for free I just have to drive down to Ft. Lauderdale to pick it up. So my new plan of action is to slowly build up the 2jz while I play with this motor. Then when I'm done with the 2jz and have everything to swap it in, I will swap motors. Today I decided that I'm going to autocross the car until the 2jz is done. I want to be competitive but I really want to do it for the experience and fun, so I don't care if I'm competitive or not. I have a list of 17 little things to get the car running and driving. Well I'll post some pics when my ignition and harness get here.

Then put a Hayabusa motor in it right?? Or maybe a SBC??? Or even a 7.3 Diesel with a T76 turbo???

Haha the only person I argue with about garage space is my dad because the Z is back in the corner of our 1 car garage and he tries to fit his stretched and turbo'd Suzuki Hayabusa in there.

I see you like doing trannies. But on the hair part, I have an afro and I have to work on the ground with no creeper (or whatever you guys call it) so my hair gets all kind of stuff in it. I wash my hair a minimum of 3 times after working on the Z or any car for a prolonged period of time. Now to answer your question about the moving in with a woman. Make sure that you flush after dropping a deuce they hate it when you don't, and be neat and don't leave your stuff all over the place. Also don't forget the petroleum jelly.

I wanted the mounts because that is all I need to put a rotary in my Z but oh well.

Here is some info about my setup: I have 40mm Mikuni's on a L24 with a blowthru turbo setup. I was wondering what fuel pumps you guys are running with your triples and if there are any extra things that I should add or lookout for when I am installing a pump and running my triples. Sorry if it's worded weird but it's easier to explain through talking than it is through typing. If you don't understand then just ask and I'll figure out a way to explain better.

Just finished installing the gas tank. Tomorrow I'm gonna go buy a fuel pump, about 10 feet of fuel line, and a filter and get everything plumbed. I will have some pics tomorrow. Oh and just to let everyone know I am selling my other project ( My '72 Suburban) so that I can fund this project. I have it up for sale on a couple sites but word goes around faster by mouth so let anyone you know, know that there is one for sale. Oh and I got my first taste of boost last night. My dad's friend just bought a 94 Toyota Supra with a 4" thick FMIC, Greddy blow off valve, and a bunch of other stuff. It was raining and we were making a beverage run. When I stomped on it, it broke the wheels loose and I got out of it. I had the biggest smile on my face I have ever had. Can't wait for my car to get going.

Well I just went to get my gas tank this morning the best part is that I got it for free. So I am gonna go to church and on the way home pick up a fuel pump, and lines, then get to work on installing it. So hopefully I get a video of it running soon. Man I am stoked. SPECIAL THANKS TO FHPTOM for coming up to Daytona at 6:30 in the morning and giving me a free gas tank.

Today I went out to my junk yard and the was about 8 or 9 of them in there so me and my friend went and took about 10 door seals from them. I payed 14.06 for all 10. The seals on the doors work great. I will put some pics up tomorrow.
