  1. Last night I decided to do a little work to the Z so I pulled off the plenum and the triples, and the triples are super clean inside and so is the triples manifold. Today I'm gonna pull the exhaust manifold, turbo, and the rest of the turbo associated parts. Then I'm gonna clean and maybe polish the triples and the manifold, and put everything back together once I get a header. I'll post some pics tonight hopefully.
  2. Sorry to kind of high jack your thread Steve, but Tony, I'm in the process of removing my Cartech turbo kit to sell it but I'm gonna run the triples open with velocity stacks. Would there be a problem with me running them without the turbo kit?
  3. Project is on hold for a couple weeks until I get a couple grades straight. Might have the turbo kit gone and then I'm gonna order my 6" Velocity Stacks http://cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=511, some 6-1 headers, fuel line, a fuel pump, and a harness and it should be good to go.
  4. Go to the junkyard and pull the front door seals out of a Kia Sportage. Those work and fit great. My door opens and closes smooth as butter.
  5. Yea that's the same thing that I sent you. It's actually kinda useful it just doesn't have any info on the Carbs.
  6. Stony, that your Z looks really good without that hood scoop.
  7. Wow $125,000 is pretty high but worth every penny of it.
  8. Oh and did you check to see if you broke an axle? or did it just lose grip completely?
  9. Wow that would really suck if the motor is no good. If it is and you want to part it out let me know. I'll even come down and help pull it apart if you want.
  10. Nice Z, those are stock SU's not webers. I think lower it and change the wheels and your good to go.
  11. I also used Gloss Black rustoleum on my Z but I brushed it on I was planning on redoing it with a paint gun but I have no experience with them. Do you have any tips on getting it to lay down a nice coat?
  12. My dad uses a '99 Dodge 3500 dually with a Cummins. We once towed a 3rd gen RX-7 from here in Daytona Beach, Fl to Atlanta, Ga and back and we managed about 25-28mpg after we calculated everything. Either a Dodge 2500 or 3500 dually would be a great tow vehicle, plus the Cummins is an AMAZING motor P.S. My godfather used it to transport 30 ft. boats and also operated a 5 car, car hauler. Just to show how good of a truck it is.
  13. Wow that really sucks I'm sorry to hear about your father. My condolences go you to you and your family, and glad that your ok
  14. High 60's to low 70's are the best to get really good grip.
  15. Well I'm getting rid of my turbo kit so I would like to go with some bigger triples. My 40's have been rebuilt and they have been in a turbo plenum for most of their lives. I want to trade my 40's with manifold and linkage for 44's with manifold and linkage. I'm willing to put cash on top so just let me know.
  16. Like the title says I need a header for an L24 with an E88 head. PM me and let me know what you have. I'm on a tight budget so please keep it resonable.
  17. My friend just came over with his Integra and he just happened to park in front of the Z so I took some pics. Then here it is with my dad's Turbo'd '08 Suzuki Hayabusa
  18. Try pulling up on the handle (as if lifting up the door) and the pull of that might work.
  19. Do you have good weatherstripping? My doors did the same thing and then I put new weatherstripping in and it opens and closes great.
  20. What month of '75 did it come off the line. If you don't know how to find that it's in the drivers side door jam right below the latch.
