  1. I might be trading my motercycle for this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7974312770&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 what do you think?
  2. i'm parting out a supra on ebay right now 1 out of 8 bids are bogus. It really is a pita. People are stupid.
  3. If your doing this for a lurning experiance you've picked the right thing. I'm 7 grand deep and 3+ years and going. You'll become addicted and the car and it will never be done. You'll get to put you think you know to the test because once you get into it, there's no takeing it to the local Nissan dealership to tell you what's wrong. You'll lurn things out of nesesity. My cars parked right now and I'm hopeing to put more than the 500 miles that I did last summer on it this summer. It really is a matter of priority, if it is important to you and you are diven you can do it. If you let it slide onto the back burner like I have it can be there a long time for excuses of lack of money and time.
  4. I currently have the same problem with my 305 right now. But mine is because I have a wobble on my crank from the pully. The car is accually going form retarded to advanced in idle but is fine in WOT.
  5. Nice to know I'm not the only Jeep head in here also. Here is a pic of the '95 YJ on 35" Claws ans 6.5" of lift I sold to bye a house... I ran the bias ply Claws and they wore fast but I loved them on the trail. You do have to be carefull in off camber situations, becase they do not have any lateral stability and you will slide sideways. I'm currently working on an '89 XJ 31" AT's 3" lift and cut fenders for trail use, it's my $300 Jeep. Sorry it's a big pic.
  6. Thanks for all the info guys I will pass it along to him.
  7. I know a couple guys on the board have a honda toy. Does anyone know of a good Honda forum? Is there such a thing? I sware it's not for me I'm not going to the dark side, my lil bro is looking for a forum without the bs and bickering.
  8. I was planning on haveing them tune it in on 92 oct because I run 94 sometimes 93 in it now. I emailed him back stateing that I could put the bungs in if he just lets me know the diameter. I tried bribeing him with bringing in buisness from my home town (40 miles away). But that is a long shot. lol I know the engine is ready to be tuned, the rings and valves have seated. I just have to cough up the $$$
  9. I went with a ground controll kit and sectioned my rear struts. I am not running stock hight, but I dont bottom out (except for speed bumps).
  10. I emailed a local shop that dose dyno tuneing and this was there responce. "Josh, we will need to weld a bung into your exhaust to plug our wide band 02 sensor into. We have a set fee of $450.00 for tuning carb cars, and we can indeed set the lifters for you into this price. You will get quite a few dyno runs, with full print-outs. Thanks for inquiring. Bob" Second question... With me running a true dual exhaust wont they need two O2 sensors? My Eldelbrock carb has adjustments for bouth sides. Here is there site. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com
  11. If your neighbor has too many cats just get yourself a 160 lb Rot. You wont even have to feed it. Fight cats with dogs.
  12. What time? Do you remember the name of the shop w/dyno yet?
  13. It's not a pony kill (done that) it was a Neon, wasn't really a kill. Just a statement. One of my little brothers friends got one of the new turbo Neons with a stage one Mopar kit and a really loud bov. I was following him through town and had the luck of catching a red light next to him in the middle of a hill. I lanched too high on the throttle for the hill and my crappy Kuhmo Supra tires. Spun the tires really bad all the way through first, and till I shut it down at the top of second (he ran up on a car). Dead even the whole way. The smoke was soo thick that the auto light on the Silverado behind me turned on. We get to where we were going and his statement was "I was exspecting you to fly by me, then I saw the smoke."
  14. I'm still addicted to the first Mechassult. I'm online with that game, don't play Halo 2 that much.
  15. I like the Xb's, 34mpg some cargo room and +it's a Toyota. I'm comtiplating on getting one to replace the corola if it ever dies. 168,000 mi. and still rolling @ 35mpg. I like it because I have my nice looking unpractical car with horid gas milage, and constant need for wrenching. The DD should be the opposite. Helps keep you priorites in order.
  16. BFG G-Force KDWS I'll have to look into those although I don't care one bit about wet traction. The tire size I'm running now is 225/45/17 so I guess I could squeeze 245's I'm debating on getting 2 15's to run drag radials on now because I hate to comprimise. I'll keep an eye out for lawn sprinklers is I run slicks.
  17. I'm having a hard time choosing what tires to put on the Z. I'm running Honda 17's with Ross's adaptors with Kumho 711's. The 711's are not doing the job well. I drive the Z about 5k a year never in the rain and hoping to hit the strip one a month this summer. So I guess my priorities are as follows, 10 highest 1 lowest. Tread wear 5 Wet traction 1 Straight line 10 Cornering 10 Price 7 I have not done much research on pricing, but allot of reading on comparisons. What tires I have been looking at are... Avon Tech R Hoosier A3S04 or R3S04 BFG g-force drag radial Kumho V710 or V700 Toyo Proxes The most common size I've been contemplating is 225/45/17. I have not rolled the fenders yet, but I'm not against it. And I am running coilovers sectioned rear struts with stock IRS. I know this is one of the topics beaten to death, and I've read allot of past threads. I'm just looking for some more information. I have no problems running a slick on the street, I'm far from street legal and have never had problems with the local law.
  18. I wonder if they will offer shipping and pick up from Bedford Ohio? Total Est. Time: 4 hours, 52 minutes Total Est. Distance: 285.84 miles
  19. I think he would make a great online engine designer. Pick the right parts with p/n and set the machineing specs for the builder. Grumpies online engine building, I'd like a Grumpy Block.
