Hey man, I was definitely planning on using some form of molded plastic or ABS. I'm not sure what material you were envisioning that is so fragile.. Fiberglass??? I contacted a few plastics molders and they were only interested in jobs of 10000 or more. I think thats a bit out of my league for now. The problem is the cost of developing an ABS mold. If the demand was there, and I could convince a bank that there were 10000 people dying for these things, then maybe we could get this thing done. For now though i think i may have to figure out another way.

After considering other wheels I am sure that I have decided on the Centerlines. I need 15xWide Centerline Auto Drags. Or some other wide ass heavy offset JDM wheels (SSR, Bright Racing, Etc.). The Centerlines are the only USDM wheels I want. Thanks for all the help though guys. I will adjust my original post.

I gotta second the 944 seats. If I were to swap my datto baskets for something other than newer ones, I would be inclined to find me some 944s. slick looking similar shape but much more performance minded.

Octo, thanks for the links! You guys really hooked me up with some info. Much appreciated! After looking at those gauges I seem to remember a set of auto meters with the green lights, similar to my current stock ones. It makes sense that I should swap it out. Function over having the original equipment I guess. Man there are a lot gauge choices...

that sucks. I like the stock gauge. Oh well.

Thats a pretty good point! Although, if my oil really was running that low in pressure, would I be risking damage to my engine? What do your Oil Pressure guages run at?

I find it pretty hard to believe that this topic hasn't been covered yet but my searches yielded no results. Why isn't there an affordable 240z Dashboard option available? MSA has these for $2500. Used in good condition you can find them for $1000 on ebay. What is stopping someone from Reproducing this inexpensively??? Thanks, - Alex

Thanks 2+2! I am sure the build is way out of my league, but I have gained a LOT o build knowledge just from rooting through build threads in the past. I am obviously new to the S30 chassis but it never ceases to amaze me how simple and versatile it is (and sexy ). I hope Kevin is able to get us some build pics of this gnarly 4x4 beast.

And I am totally a hack, but I am trying not to be. That's why I come here, to learn from you guys. I have read a few of the other threads that you guys have posted about awd and 4x4 s30s, but I can't find a build thread. I'd like to see how something like that would actually come together.

Daeron, hit me with pics of the centerlines as those sound similar to what I want. Just a few angles of the wheels would be great and we can work out a deal.

I saw that on the for sale side. I like them, but with shipping to MA from OK I think you might be out of my price range. I think I'll have to wait and see if anything comes around for a little less money or a little closer to me. That is pretty close to exactly what I want though. Thanks for posting!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a set of low offset 15" wheels for my Z. Bolt pattern 4x114.3 or 4x4.5. I would really love a set of Centerline AutoDrags so if you have those let me know. I saw a set of 15x9's on a Z here and LOOOVED them. I would like to avoid Sportmax XXRs if possible but will buy them if they are cheap enough. Holy freaking crap!!! That thing is awesome!!!! :o I have totally seen the cars where they just toss the body of a Z on a truck, but I was more interested in the type of car in the YouTube video. Are there any build threads on here of something like that??? I'm interested in some of the specifics.

Has anyone ever build an All wheel drive or 4x4 Z??? I wonder if it's possible?? There are 4x4 Datsuns that I'm sure could be hacked into an S30 chassis. Anyone?

Why would you doubt that that is custom? Looks custom to me. And by custom I mean made in such a small batch (if not one off) that I've never in my life seen it before. If you really like it keep looking, but IMO there are better options avail.
