  1. hmm... I have not seen that issue. But 99% of the machines I interact with are not used for games (except mine of course). I have had no issues. I say download, install, and update it, scan your whole computer and when its done see how you do.
  2. Check this one out for an example of what I mean. http://www.allsentra.com/viewforum.php?f=86 - A
  3. Oh ok. I was thinking about having a section where people could post how to writeups. What section would you want this thread to be in? How would people contribute their writeups to the thread?
  4. Mine has a search link at the bottom. Right next to the full version link.
  5. I would like to help out in any way that I could. What kind of work would be involved?
  6. I appreciate that, but if you think about how many posts you and all of the other users have that say "Search" or "use the search function" it would soon become clear that there is an issue. Creating a how-to section would make it easier for the users of Hybrid_Z to find the information they are looking for, instead of having to ask you guys for it all the time. Being new to the chassis I use the search tool a lot and find that the vast majority of the results that come-up are unrelated, and when i do re search because the threads i got were not what I was looking for, I get a message stating that "Flood control is on" and that I have to wait 15 seconds to search again. This makes the process very cumbersome. Now i did not create this thread to complain about the search function, i just really think if we compiled the current walkthroughs and started building new ones in one section, it would drastically cut down on the amount of junk posts.
  7. Hey guys, Im sure this has been addressed already but, why don't we have a "how-to" section? Just a single section of the forum for writeups and walkthroughs. I have seen these work wonders for eliminating repeat or" noob" questions on some of the other auto forums. If everyone chipped in a write-up or two I think it would really help. What do you guys think?
  8. Holy gad! You love your brother more than I love mine. That looks like some WORK! Can't wait to see the progress!
  9. That's an interesting point zr8ed. I forgot that Im going black on black. Ac is for girls but if I ever want to convince my gf to let me drive us to the cape in the Z ac might be the ticket.
  10. I am an IT consultant in Boston and I recommend Microsoft Security Essentials for a free av and spyware solution. Also Malwarebytes is very good for spyware and trojan issues but i wouldn't use it to treat a viral infection and it wont protect you from getting infected unless you pay for it. As far as pay/support and contract av solutions though I don't like any one of the available solutions. Which is kind of a big problem for IT folks.
  11. I love china. I bought my headlights from china for $ 3.50. Jokes aside though that's really sad. All we have to do to fix the economy is to heavily tax outsourcing. Bam... problem solved.
  12. I noticed this as well but my harbor freight does not carry flare nut wrenches. Also, for flare nut wrenches i would never in my life use a sub standard brand ever again. Being turned off by the $20 price tag of the 10mm craftsman flare nut wrench I decided to go to PepBoys and pick one up for $6. Worst thing I've ever done. The wrench would, ever so slightly, flex outward when turning causing it to strip and ruin my brake line fittings. After that I went out and bought a legitimate set of Craftsman flarenut wrenches ($39.99 for the whole metric set) and every single fitting popped of like it was no big thing. And an aside to JSM, they just redesigned their Flare nut set to include a much beefier head and handle then they used to. I was lucky enough to get the new design when I bought them Lifetime warranty is one thing, but if the tool is no good to begin with then they are just guaranteeing that it will be no good forever.
  13. Interested in Revving/Driving videos. Lets see this puppy roll!
  14. I am so ridiculously Jealous. Awesome.
  15. I just finished doing this. I used a hammer and metal putty knife on the floors cause the rust had made it easy to pull them apart. On the tranny tunnel i had to use a hammer, a chisel, and a six pack of beer. The six pack of beer became crucial around the three hour marker. It helped me swear beligerantly while hammering like an idiot and pissing off my neighbors. I will never do it without dry ice again.
  16. Nice Porsche! I dig 944's too. Cost to build is a little rich for my tastes though.
  17. I'm trying to figure out how to put that chevette setup in an enclosure so it doesn't look quite so... Um DIY. Haha and I'm a little concerned about how much air that 120 could really push through that core. Have you tried that setup?
  18. Wow... for $20? haha that's a glorified hair dryer is what it is!
  19. Wow leon thats pretty crazy. Lots of orange where I went. I had to dig to find the yellow one.
  20. haha nice guy. And you would have been nicer had she let you.
  21. Picked these up last night. Very cool. Found a 350z too! $11.88 each. The lady at the front said that "a TON of people have been buying these". I wish they had a ZX or two.
  22. I have had much better luck with Advance than I have with AutoZone. I re ran all of my hard brakelines using their gear and the guys are always very accommodating when I buy the wrong ****.
  23. I don't think I could get my GF back in the Z WITH the heater installed. After she saw that gnarly mouse nest she was all about gutting it. I guess I could just wait until it becomes an issue and fab something up. I was hoping someone had an aftermarket solution.
  24. I agree. I would only really need it if i were up way early in the morning and my W/S got fogged up. I could fab up some sort of custom solution for that. Let me know if you have any insight as to how you plan on pulling that off. Im interested in what you guys have come up with.
  25. ROFL. Going to check my store in NH tonight. Great find!!!!
