  3. i dont have a pic but maybe someone can help. it was a 240z that had over 400hp at the wheels.does he/she have a site? was it the twin turboz?

  6. i think that the ecm on the automatic will not work with the manual tranny. the driveshafts might also be different
  7. i found this on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1822908088 are they really interchangeable? can i use chevy injectors on my z?? whats the big thing on the pulses again?? i have an l28t running10lbs of boost and want more.i know that i will need an intercooler

  9. i used to work for a machine shop and found out that those castings are prone to cracking. get these heads checked for cracks first.
  10. it could be that your starter is spinning but not engaging.i have the same engine and it does that from time to time.
  11. i dont think that its a fuel problem.the car doesnt have the stock rusty gas tank.it has a fuel cell with a new pump.i checked the lines and they look pretty good. the car also makes a weird rattling sound under boost(sometimes)but thats when its running the best. my friend thinks that the turbo is about to go and thinks that the wastegate is working properly any suggestions?
  12. well since i dicided to keep my turbo car.ive been working on it quite a bit and have done the following...... i installed a fuel pump from the ford van using scotty's method(to the alt,batt.,ect..)new plug wires new tps,cap rotor,fresh fuel.the problem i have is when i drive the car its o.k until i try to give it more gas.it stumbles and jerksbut at certain rmps it pulls very hard and the gauge jumps to 10lbs of boost.i love the way it pulls on SOME rpms.how do i adjust the tps?i love my turbo car(my first)and i have big plans for it

  14. i have i stock turbo motor in my z.the pump i had on it quit working.if i get a more powerful pump where do i mount the regulator at?what happens with the stock regulator?what kind of pump can i use?i am trying to get this thing running again. the turbo also has a cable running inside the car with a knob on it.is that for adjusting the boost? if i get this thing running descent i'll save up for an sds unit.

  22. yeah i was hoping that the mig was the way to go cause i'm not not very good with the arc.my father has a mig welding with the argon mixture and it works great on all kinds of metals.so its ok to weld the rails with the mig right?thank you all for replying. juan
