    i know that the turbo head subject has been answered many time butthe p90 is getting rareand the p79 has the same chambers. can the p79 be used with a turbo even though it has the exhaust liners? in basic terms without going in deep into which is the best turbo head.which one will work?

    are there numbers on the transmitions? how would i decode them? and where can i get the ratios? would the t5 have t5 stamped on them?

    i replaced my alt with one from an 83zxt(same as the engine)and it wouldnt shut off.went back with the old 74 and it was fixed. thats all i know

    i had a very similar problem with my turbo z.turned out it was the throtle body position sensor. give it a try.its just a guess from past experiences
