  1. Holy mother..... Should have an EASY 600 ft/lbs of torque. I always wanted to swap one of those 500ci engines into a mid 70's malibu, would be a pretty decent sleeper
  2. This is what I saw when I pulled the carpets away:
  3. I was in the same boat with my Z. Instead of scrapping the car, I'm going to replace the frame on both sides with 2x3 channel, and go from there. Rust free Zs (rust free anything, for that matter!) are pretty tough to come by. May as well fix the ol girl up properly, and improve a couple of things while I'm at it.
  4. Going to have a look at another '71 on saturday, I'll decide if this is the project car or the donor.
  5. Man who go through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok
  6. This is before I got started on it. It's in many, many more pieces now. Hopefully the snow will be gone this week, so I can start working the old girl over again.
  7. Moving along quite nicely. I have a 2.8T engine in my S30 as well, powered by an alternate fuel
  8. Nice looking car! The roll cage would look better in mine though
  9. This is exactly where I'm at with my 240. Very helpful, thank you!
  10. The C6 Z06 pulls over 1G on the skidpad. Nothing to sneeze at there.
  11. Don't have an "after" yet, here are few "before" and "now" pics : Now:
  12. Ha! Waiting to see the next installment of "When Animals Attack!"
  13. Well, to put it in perspective: A Boss 302 Mustang was $3,720 A Corvette coupe was $5,192 I was trying to find more, but it's hard to find vehicle pricing from 1970!
  14. To be honest, I was undecided whether or not to keep the propane system on it when I got the car. After doing some research, I'd be foolish NOT to keep it!
  15. Newbie here with a recently purchased 71 240Z. Already has 280ZXT drivetrain on propane, runs about 14psi When I unloaded it off the trailer: As it sits now:
