  1. Yes you do! :naughty: Some day, it MIGHT look as nice as yours
  2. My most recent pic, although lots has been done since it was taken. It was orange originally, and it will be orange when it's done!
  3. The one I'm working on now is pretty awful. 1/2 of the car scraped off when I was loading it on to the trailer. Found rust everywhere, whatever isn't rusted is bent. Hello, tube frame!
  4. Or if you can find one, I believe the Lincoln Mark VIIIs use the same thing, but with an aluminum housing.
  5. I was going to use a C4 diff, but they're a little scarce up here. Ended up buying 2 Thunderbird SC's for $500 to use for parts. They have a Ford 8.8" IRS, with 3.27 gearing and posi...
  6. I may be able to help you out with this. I'll make sure there's no damage to the one I have before I say for sure.
  7. I'm working on putting C5 stuff in my 240. Hope it doesn't turn out THAT bad!
  8. I have a ton of parts off my 71 that I'm not using. Suspension, drivetrain....PM me if you want pics Only a few hours south of you
  9. While I appreciate the amount of work that went into it, I can't say that I find it attractive.
  10. I have a pair of fenders and headlight buckets, but shipping would probably be prohibitively expensive.
  11. The wrecker that my '70 went to didn't take the steering wheel off like they were supposed to before they crushed the car. I was not impressed.
  12. I have the front and rear subframes from a C5 vette sitting under my 240Z right now.......trying to figure out a way to make it work. I think it's going to require more expertise and talent than what I currently have.
  13. This is one of my favorite LSx powered vehicles.
  14. Well, what I'd like to do would be machine the stub shaft off of the Datsun spindle, and have the vette hub bolt on. Easy serviceability in the future, not a big fan of having to get parts machined every time a part that wears out needs to be replaced. I'd have to see if I could use the corvette caliper mounts, though I'd probably have to get something made. Basically just need to get a complete spindle assembly for a C5, then see what it's gonna take to make it work.
  15. I think I'm going to attempt to make some vette goodies fit on my '71. I work for GM, so the calipers, rotors, etc are cheap. There are tons of Z06 take off wheels out there, lots of knock offs as well. I'm going to take my 240Z hubs apart this weekend, maybe see of I can modify the corvette hub to work... Any thoughts? I've searched the forum for 3 days, and found a few guys using some of the vette parts, not that much info though. If this works out, I just might have to buy that 505hp LS6 sitting on my showroom floor...
  16. I play Forza 3 quite a bit. I have a whole fleet of Fairlady Z's, in different states of modification..... Gamertag is CFTrouserTrout
  17. My car is powered by propane, I can just hook the barbecue to the filler.
  18. Ok, I searched and searched, but didn't find anything..... but I may just be partially retarded. Anybody try a brake swap out of a C5 vette, or similar? The cobra upgrade looks good, but I work at a GM dealer In Canuckistan....
  19. The Cobalts have a recall out for their steering motors. We've replaced a metric f*ckton of them.
  20. Wow, is that a bumper on the back, or a tailgate?
  21. Hard to compare a game that's been out for a while with a game that is STILL just a myth.....
  22. Looks like fun! I haven't worked on my Z in 3 days. I think I'm having some sort of withdrawal
