  1. To top it off, I just moved here and I have never driven in snow! Closest I got was driving my 240sx in heavy rain with bald tires. I am cautious however so I will live. hopefully....
  2. I gotta see how this turns out. I am a Nissan guy but I always find myself thinking of cheating with a subie. lol
  3. Ya that's what he did. Not something that I would consider doing since I am not a machinist. I have so much to learn about these cars. I know lots about the KA (former 240sx owner) but not a single thing about the L series.
  4. The blue threw me at first but under it hood it looks like all business. Great build.
  5. That thing is a monster. Somebody would have to be waiting for me with a lit cigarette at the end of the strip if I drove that thing.
  6. As soon as I take delivery on my 280z I will be daily driving it. I can't wait for the snow! lol
  7. That color is awesome. I wish somebody had a color code for it. I have no idea.
  8. Of course. I was assuming it would be a professional paint job. But you are right, black is unforgiving.
  9. I don't think you can go wrong with any kind of black to be honest. And your car looks amazing!
  10. That interior is beautiful and the exterior color is a great match to it. You two make my car look like a pile of junk lol. ROVdriver, where did you get those seats? Was that a California license plate?
  11. I couldn't imagine an AWD VH45DE! Great work. So how does this AWD system compare to Nissan's ATESSA-ETS system? Is it more like the system in the Mitsu EVO?
  12. ^But your engine is now at a different angle than stock. Isn't that what the whole arguement was about?
  13. Found some pics on this very forum, lol. Thanks to dsommer for the pics.
  14. It looks great. I would like to see it mounted as well.
  15. Great car! I'm interested to know what the front/rear weight balance is now with the SR20 in place. Have you checked?
  16. Awesome! Keep us posted. I am considering this swap in the future. Although I guess I should put at least 5 miles on my new 280z before I consider swapping the engine. lol
  17. Great job OP. I am so happy that for once, I started reading an old build thread and I actually saw it completed. You are the man! Any new dyno numbers?
