  1. Blue72, those are some very nice pictures! I love that part of the US, have you done any of the slot canyons out there?
  2. Here's a little bit better pictures of the interior. Yes I know, I need new seats....
  3. Well today was a fairly busy day for the Z. -Got the interior, just seats and dash, installed back in. -Cut out some aluminum panels to go where the ac controls etc and glove box were. -Reran my fuel lines in a much better, and safer, way. -Got the ecu harness completely wired to the engine. I still need to do the underdash stuff though I HATE wiring with a passion. -Installed the Sanderson headers. I also ground off their little name tag thing on the driver side to give my steering shaft a little more clearance. -Figured while I had my tank out I'd sand it down and then coated it with spray on bed-liner. -Prepped and Por-15'd both doors on the inside. I'm really loving the silver interior with a white car. Same goes for everyone thats seen it too I think thats about it. Pretty happy with what I got accomplished today. Here's some pictures... Bed-lined gas tank, really crappy pic
  4. Here ya go for bumper weights http://www.zcar.com/forums/read/4/1449241
  5. Looks REALLY good! Yeah the pictures are doing the same thing to me too
  6. I'm trying to keep it as light as possible, I should weigh everything I've pulled out sometime. I think people would be surprised at how much all the little odds and ends add up. I removed at least 20lbs in just sound deadening alone But as far as driveability, I've daily'd some fairly nasty stuff and the noise and heat has never really bothered me so I'm not too worried about it. Plus it's gonna be a weekend/track car so it shouldn't be too bad. Thanks for the compliments though, after spending so much time on the interior I'd feel bad covering it all up too lol
  7. My liner is what you see... I'm not doing anything other than paint for the interior. Weight savings an such.
  8. Got it sanded down and painted today. I went with the Por-15 Stirling Silver, and I think it looks really good Sorry for bad cell phone pics, I'll get better ones in the daylight.
  9. I completely agree with you on that point, would have been much MUCH better if the spokes went straight to the barrel. With that said though, I still think that they do look pretty good. Also, alot of people say that the spokes stick out past the edge of the rim and knock the rim because of that. However, as you can see, they are at the edge of the rim. It's all personal preference but I don't think they'd look bad on a Z, especially in flat black. And especially when you consider the price and good offset, kind of hard to find when looking for Z wheels
  10. Sorry no pictures on a Z... Would love to see them on a Z though. But these are about the best pictures I've found of them.
  11. Looking forward to pictures and updates.
  12. There's this one The info is floating around on here somewhere, just search...
  13. Sorry about your loss. I was in the same situation at the beginning of last semester. I just met with my teachers, in person by the way, and they were all more than understanding. I agree with the rest of the people here too... Family is of far greater importance than school, although I really see no problems coming from your professors.
  14. Looks really good I've got pretty much the exact same setup at the exact same stage. Looking forward to seeing it run!
  15. The horsepower it's putting down is definitely impressive. Too bad it weighs almost as much as my truck...
  16. Got the basecoat finished today... Thinking about going over it in silver POR-15 like this BMW. What do yall think of silver in a white car?
  17. Sounds like that thing's gonna move! Looking forward to seeing it run.
  18. Glad to help, Yep, pretty much everything is from JTR, headers, radiator, drive shaft adapter, ect... The steering is staying stock for now. Don't have any real plans on changing it though. Don't hesitate to PM me if youv'e got any specific questions, I'll do my best to help.
  19. Both are from a trip to Canada awhile back
  20. Thanks for the compliments man! I didn't use any of their metal prep, just roughed up the paint with some sandpaper, cleaned it, and sprayed. My car is completely rust free though so it didn't need much prep. I can't say too much about brushing but I brushed some of the flat surfaces inside and it went on really well and flattened out easily. We reduced it a little when we sprayed but I don't remember by how much.. Ended up using about half a pint for the front half of the car. For the headers I'm using the Sanderson D ports from JTR.
  21. Same here, love southern rock but appreciate any fine music... DeVotchka - How It Ends
  22. I've gotten quite a bit done the last few days... The engine and transmission are back in and line up perfectly and easily now. Also scraped all of the sound deadening off of the inside and sanded everything down, probably one of the most boring things I've ever done with a vehicle. So now I'm in the process of painting the interior. Also had some help with the sound deadening
