  2. I'm moving to the tropics, anyone wanna go?
  3. I'll take my gifts in Cash please.
  4. Just be glad its not salt ...I love michigan... I got stuck driving home from class a couple of years ago when it hit real bad, it took me three hours to go what usually takes me 45min. At one point we were doing about 2mph crawl and the car in front of me started sliding twards the ditch, that was creepy.
  5. Holy Crap, For all the parts I need for the four cyl intake I'm working on its $365! That's crazy expensive. Amazingly awesome products but, Wow does that add up quick!
  6. Being 1/24th scale, any engine you want should be easy to come by. except the jdm ones... any news on when they will be one shelves?? I keep wandering down the toy isles every once in a while just to check.
  7. No, see yours has three bolts across the front of the cooling plate, theirs only has two. See it is different! K, I'll shut up now.
  8. Oooh, do you guys know where I can pickup some Clearview2000? I saw an ad in a magazine a while back(april issue), its supposed to turn whatever you paint see through! I need a case or two..
  9. your positive that's not supposed to be there, right? It doesnt look like its broken. You might consider picking up another to play with, They are a dime a dozen around here.
  10. Between our economy being so crappy and people getting consistantly lazier. It almost makes sense that people ask for handouts, they do it online because people have come to rely on the internet, its too easy to get a message out, which feeds back into the lazy bit. Obviously I dont condone the activity. I wont say I've never asked for a handout, but If I did/do then its for a very good reason.
  11. They need some stuff for airplanes! Flight line, prop wash, exhaust sample bags, etc...
  12. DUDE!!! They Sold Out of the Car to Airplane kit! URG, Now I'll just have to do it myself.
  13. Anyone notice the rerouted exhaust? Reminds me of the foreign market vipers.
  14. There's also one in the carwash scene of "Bring it on". I know, I'm sick ..looking at cars in a movie like that.
  15. There's also a long card version like the short one you have, without the yellow bar I mean. I'm not sure about significance but I have all three of the new corvette c6r releases, they acctually made three different corvettes, two yellows and a silver, all slightly different.
  16. You could continue the curve of everything right down under the car, it would have to be bolt on somehow but it would hide all the stuff under there. Look at the shelby daytona coupes.
  17. Hotwheels, like the ones in the other thread, almost always increase in value. Larger diecasts its a matter of rarety and age. Most times the packaging is worth more than the model simply because most people throw it away. Personally I remove my models from their boxes because I bought them to enjoy and how can I enjoy them if they are still in the box?
  18. I have a big display case that we rescued from a closing radio shack that holds all of my most valuable models but I have cars and planes and trains and all kinds of stuff scattered all over everywhere! I built a custom display case for my autographed '57 Corvette SS but other than that all of my models, plastic and diecast, sit on open shelves. I cant wait for these to come out! Just what I need, one more thing to collect! btw, has anyone else noticed the sudden increase in early Z models on the market? I wonder why.
  19. I keep getting more of these! Everytime I spot one I pick it up, its horrible! My work table looks like a used car lot! So far I have one in the original colors, a bare polished metal one, and a black one, next is red, then blue, and I'm not sure after that. My friend dared me to get out the silver solder and sculpt a G nose for one! I dont know about that, maybe.
  20. I know theres more out there, but heres a start: http://cgi.ebay.com/NISSAN-FAIRLADY-300ZX-86-88FUJIMI-1-24-MODELKIT_W0QQitemZ130004711943QQihZ003QQcategoryZ2583QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
  21. My camera has been MIA for a few months now so, no pics. I just took a fine point red sharpie and did the tail lights and with the black I did the grill, hood vents, and rear tail light surround and that was it. I'm going to buy another one to take apart and repaint, should be interesting.
  22. I picked up one of those a while back and after a couple minutes with a red and a black sharpie it looks great.
  23. I've seen those F1 and indy street cars before, they just dont have the "look" of the real thing. Besides, its a pitty they used the chrysler drivetrain. Sure its cheap but as soon as you put any real power through that trans your going to have issues.
  24. I'll take two! I've always wanted a street legal F1 car ...guess I'll still have to build my own.
  25. I too have a few of those, I've been building models since I can remember! btw, if anyone finds one of those 1/10 R/C car bodies, Please let me know! I've been looking for since I bought my first Z.
