Spoke to GC today and they agree with the camber plate tops would help the issue. Also another "fix" is running shorter collars. Do you susp experts agree with that? I am thinking I am never going to use the top four inches or so of the collar so do I really need it there? GC will sell you collars in whatever length you want. They normally ship with 6 inch collars...so I got them. If it is a good idea to cut them down some then I will. Again, the shearing of the top of the collars do not damage the car or handling at all.

Ok here is my problem with MSA. 1. Backorders, as stated they have no problem billing you but have no clue when the part will come in. As a repeat buyer of more than 4 years I would think they would say something like we will call you once the part comes in or an email if you would still like it. Not well it could be a few months or tomorrow. 2. I order a FG front spoiler...the one you see on my red 71 Z. Two problems. The first being, the license plate area is too small and will only hold the bottom two bolts in it or you can let it hold the top two and drop the plate under the spoiler....you would have to make a slice in it to do that. Bigger issue I had, both turn signal holes were cut to big to bolt the back of the housings to the spoiler. I called and took pictures....I got we don't see anything wrong with the molds. Idiots....I am telling you the dayum housing falls into the hole you guys cut. You would think I would be so pissed off if I was looking to return the thing but I was calling as a heads up for QC. Go figure! 3. When you get a certain someone on the phone, it almost seems like you are bothering them to spend money. Due to this attitude it took me almost 4 weeks to really place a $1000+ order with MSA and this was a few days ago. I do buy from them and had really no problems with them until late. I would buy from them twice before I bought from MM. Do you get everything yuo order, yes. Will they correct an issue if there is one, yes. Have I ever had a problem getting them on the phone, nope. I just wish they had better people on the phones. Maybe I call to early in the am....noon here on the east coast

This and power door locks!

Well the dash went in today....and back out.....and back in! First try, everything worked besides the highbeam led. I hooked it up to the light source by mistake so to fix it the dash had to come back out. Hour later dash is back in and 90% of the wires tucked away and hooked up. I just need to hook up two more wires for the power windows and they are done. All three leds work, yay! Had both doors apart a few days ago and now they are all done. Next is hooking up the blower motor, installing the heater control panel, installing a radio and finishing up the interior. I also want to reroute the heater hoses because they are ugly as hell right now. I have to make a fuel pump bracket for saftey. I also need to fix my coilover problem......my front collars are trashed. Ground Control asked me to send them pics before they would even let me order...hope this turns out well. They really seem interested in trying to get this issue fixed. Center Console: No window crank: sun fade I need to fix on NOS panels Almost done: Issue: This is with the car in the air.

A basic LS1 swapped Z will fetch $12k.....no way would that buy mine, Daves and a few other Z cars here. Not to put anyone's car down but I think Janaka had the nicest ls1 car for sale so far and the price was very fair. If I didn't have one, like cygnusx1 I would prob have bought it.

Well in keeping up with my new name, finished installing the PW with Joe in the doors and just need to be wired up to some power, ground and switches. Doors off to be drilled to run wires: New mess to clean up old mess: Joe bored taking pics of me:

Not a crash but a little opps. Trust me this could have been ten times worse! Me @ Watkins Glen. Bent exhaust, 4 flat spotted tires with 300 miles on them, dented rear quarter, bent bumper...one hell of a ride!

I spy something new under my name!!!!!

Here is my dash now and I will be installing leds in my autometer gauges. After pics will be posted. A mess! So cleaning it all up: Before During Finish product Both gauges are done and back in stock 240z housings. Tomorrow I will wire up all the leds and install the leds for dash lighting. Also will pre-wire a radio and everything else needed to get everything to work in the dash. Dash will be done tomoorrow. Then I can move on to the heat and the hoses.

So here is how she sits right now: Dash is out to clean up the wiring harness. I will post some pics of that later and link it back here. I am also going through the brakes while I have the dash out because I am not getting the brake "feel" that I want, so I may install a 73 booster or a 280z booster. The car still has a vacuum leak somewhere.....Power windows are going in this weekend and the heat. Then I need to do some cleaning up of compound and put here back together. Then it will be off to get tuned, alignment, e-cutouts and weight taken. Summer is coming so I need to get it done! Plus Joe is in need of the space......for the next car

Thanks, we have been working on this for sometime and wanted to get it out to our memebers. few more things have to be fixed but for the most part all of it works.
