  1. This car is coming up on Thursdays auction. The car will not start.I am thinking that the engine was not hit in the crash and the harness got destroyed. I can't remember off the top of my head where the ECU is located in the Trams Am. It is an auto car also which should help keep the cost down. I will use the engine in my car and keep the ECU and auto trans for a future project for my dad. I am thinking I can pick up this car for a tops $3500. Anyone have any concerns I may have missed looking at the pics? I did buy a 98 Trams Am years ago hit much harder dead on up front with a cracked block. I know that engine is running around in another Z car in VA. Will post final sale price of this car.
  2. Car looks great! Glad you are happy with it. Been waiting a long time to see it done, well finsihed for now
  3. Car number two went for $5800. Out of my budget with buyers fee and shipping. I would like to buy a car shipped to me for $6000. There is another one coming up next Weds. We shall see.
  4. 9am auction time tomorrow for the red car. Other buyers stay home and off the PC! lol
  5. I now know when I am looking for a house this year, it will have space for a garage that size plus have two lifts! And a bathroom!
  6. Car sold for $7k! So Friday going after the Red 06 GTO. This should sell in my price range.... Hopefully the crappy weather keeps people home!
  7. Here is car number two if I don't get the first car: 06 GTO 49k miles This will go for much cheaper than the car above.....hopefully
  8. Bid starts at noon tomorrow. Car ended @ $4850 for the pre-online bids. I am sure it is good for another $1k tomorrow. Let you guys know tomorrow!
  9. No luck on radiator...just looks like a regular alm rad. Installing the clutch master this weekend. So you can consider this swap finished!
  10. There is another car I am looking at, hit harder with a few more miles. 2 more days til this auction so will update on the final selling price. I do agree it should go north of $6k.
  11. I am hoping to get lucky. The car isn't hit as hard as I would like and like you said...depends on who shows up that day. Will let you guys know what the final price is next week.
  12. This thread is to help others and myself to see where the market is on complete donors and the LS2/T56 combo. I have done three donors complete but this is going back a few years ago. I had two LS1 Camaros (98 & 02) and a LS1 Trans Am (98). I am going after a 2005 GTO next week at the auctions with 42k miles. Here are a few pics of the car: Clean Bay I am hoping to get the car in the $5k-$5.5 range. I should be able to pull back in $2-$3k on parts. Of course I am planning on keeping the engine/trans/ecu and gas pedal. Anyone else buy a LS2 setup lately?
  13. So I bought some parts to do the intank black box in the stock tank. A few members have fun this setup with no issues. Since that time, I have sold the complete running gear out of my car. I am now in the middle of figuring out where I want to go next with the car. A few weeks I may know what I am doing.
  14. Let me get back to you. I have the complete front and and rear end. 87 300zxt
  15. Glad you got your money back. I am sure someone will have a CF bucket made out there.
  16. I have to take a look at it. It was installed in the car when I got it to do the swap.
  17. Update..... The car starts! Have some cleaning up to do to the fuel line, tuck away some wires, install drive shaft, new clutch master and a few other small items and she is all done. Miss the engine already! New owner is going to love it tho.....Kjones are you getting your car fired up this weekend?
  18. Nice car, I just saw it in person a few months ago.
  19. Fired up tomorrow.....going to help a friend part out his 2001 Maxima. Joe be there at the house early in the am, maybe tonight. I call dibs on the bean bag!
  20. I thought there was an issue with them because they do not have the mounting stud to bold them to the fenders. Unless there is another way to mount them that I missed over the past few months.....sorry I haven't been paying attention much to all the new toys coming out for our s30 cars. Now, I can't remember off the top of my head if you can run a nut and bolt of your own.....
